For every Lillend who wishes to enter our service as instructors
-[X] 5 Aquatic Cleric Creature Jesulan (CR 10, 12 HD)
-[X] 5 Advanced Plant-Imbued Sea Drake (CR 10, 7 HD)
-[X] 5 Advanced Sorcerer Creature Snapdragon Leshy (w/+8 Racial HD) (CR 10, 14 HD)
And we summoned 15 Lillends one-vote.
It feels like a bit... too much per an Outsider. Simply too many forces given back per unit.
We arent that desperate for teachers.

Gotta agree here. Bard teachers are nice, but the Lesser Phoenixes have that niche covered. It's not like this is something we've been lacking.

If anything I'd cut back the recruited Lillends somewhat.

Not mechanically, afaik.
Lillends would have worked as Bard teachers b/c of their unique-ish stats...
But that was when working under an assumption that we can just summon them, not that we'd have send back an equal/greater force to replace them.

Send them anyway, it's basically a delegated scouting action.

Okay, plan updated again. Now with three of each type being sent in exchange for all 15 Lillends. Nine CR 10 servitors is plenty to make up for them losing the assistance of 15 CR 7 creatures.

I don't want to go any lower than this, though. Those we're sending aren't just going to help out, they're also going to be our eyes and ears in the Celestial realms as well as an advertisement for what sort of aid we can provide.

Devil Cats, upon seeing the Tree of Dawn Age:
"...Mine."
*catfighting ensues*

So, as expected the City of Brass is a mess. I mean, I knew a bit of that from throwing out ideas for the mageguilds, but the military is similarly split and only the Tax office seems to have actual unity and continuity. Hmm, similar to Hell in some ways.

So, can our resident politic-interested people see any weakpoints we can can utilize there?

The big issue is that everyone is trying to throw each other under the bus, but that doesn't change the fact that there's hundreds of fucking busses flying around all over the place. The fault-lines are designed to breakaway cleanly specifically because if someone exploits one, the person who set it in their path doesn't want them to climb higher than that.

Just as an example, but how do you imagine you become Grand Vizier to the Brazen Throne?

By killing/socially destroying everyone between you and him. And when you get there, you realize you can't survive without the Sultan's favor, because the Sultan wouldn't trust anyone in that position with all of that commiserate power who he couldn't totally and completely ruin in a nanosecond if it became necessary.

It's rife with corruption, but "it's the only game in town". Basically, you start to realize that you only ever "get away" with ousting your superior because their superior allowed it. Everyone is aware of what everyone directly in their chain of command stands to gain because it is very fucking pertinent for them to always be aware of that at all times.

@Goldfish, I'd add 10 Lead Clad Black Knights with Mobility Upgrade for 730 IM a piece, 7,300 IM total.

Nobody in Elysium will balk at the idea of our necromantic meatbots and Illithid proof forces are something they will find very interesting.

I'd also consider to send them next month with an envoy in tow to make some contacts.

Can we make ghosts using the normal fleshforge rules?

Did you suggest ghost jellyfish swarms before or am I misremembering that?

So is there any practical limit on our ability to produce Lead Clad Black Knight's beyond their IM cost? Looking at the pertinent Informational Post it seems like even corpses are only needed to reduce the cost of creatures, rather than mandatory, but I want to nail that down.

Also how long does it take to produce them in truly massive quantities? It seems like as it stands we can produce as many as we want and it will only take a month, is that accurate?

@Crake
I thought more on an organisatorial level.

We have mageguild abducting and torturing each other's members.
We have an army of free Efreeti only and one made of slaves.
We have fanatics next to opportunists.

If we utilize the inevitable tensions between these groups in the right moment, we might get a chance for our Brass-stealing raid.

We never talked about it, though it will probably not work that easily, what with ghosts having no flesh.

Though fleshforged jellyfish sounds like me. Though... we don't have any... why do we have no jellyfish monsters?

They are basically limitless, just like other Flesh Forge / Fungus Forge creations. Specific undead need specific bodies, but Necrocraft based creations have their parts grown like everything else.

Hmm, a four-way slaughter? Wouldn't that make those other bastards gain a greater chance at grabbing whatever valuables (books, weapons, commodities, and slaves) before we could have our hands on them?

Much like Tyrosh, but at a greater level.

Thank you! Given that they do not need to breathe or move or eat how many Black Knight's do you think we could load into a Moonchaser, if we just crammed as many in there as economically possible?
