[X] Visit the Dornish tourney in a guise - the lords shall be properly briefed on many a thing.

Finally caught up after months and months of reading from the beginning, and there's a great deal I could say about the consistent quality as well as mind-boggling scale and ambition of this quest. For now I'll merely note, being an ecologist by trade, how much I appreciate what our alliance with the Old Gods has done for the flavor of the quest, as well as all the absolutely wonderful snake-friends we've looted along the way (non-evil serpentfolk are a very rare treat and I love them dearly).

For my part I want to recover the other Coatls sooner rather than later, but since there's a strong possibility of BSE or Carcosa presence across the Sunset Sea and Pathfinder went absolutely nuts in regards to what we could run into on the moon, that's definitely PC work and I know that we already have a lot to do (although once we get there the hard way we could always return). Any chance we could squeeze an excursion into the next few months?

I'd have to say that my absolute favorite moment was growing the Tree of the Dawn Age, I legitimately got chills. I also love any instance of us recruiting or allying with people like Glyra and Amrelath who would, in almost any other work, be merely another entry in a long list of adversaries. Befriending 'monsters' has enriched this quest so very much, though hindsight is 20/20 and the widespread trepidation of the thread at doing this, especially early on, was entirely justified. I'd have to say that the invasion of Tyrosh actually happening was a big moment for me, as it's when I realized just how ambitious and committed this quest was.

Thanks, that's a very nice compliment. I had not considered that aspect of the quest from an ecological perspective. I tried to make the Old Gods feel like a personification of nature, but not as we see it, more like the mystery, the bounty and the danger that our early ancestors saw, before we had the tools to truly clear the deep woods where we imagined the goblins ghosts and spirits of fairy tales.

One thing though you missed a bracket on your vote so the tally program will fail to count it.

Welcome aboard, dude. Enjoy the insanity! :p

I'm down for some Coatl hunting, too. We can't drop everyone and go full on "gotta loot'em all", but we can start looking soon, I hope. Potential Moon Coatl should be the first we go after.

i honestly can't wait to see what is underneath casterly rock since there should also be a shrine there to the god from witch Zethir stems whose name i can't remember. that'll be fun

We probably won't be able to go personally for most of it, but the Moonchaser could be deployed at some point. We've just got too much to do for Companions to be spared for that.

You're thinking of Jazirian.

i feel that Moonsong would love to take the moonchaser to the actual moon, should be great for her story and also it's just damn cool. i also wonder how her court is coming along but that's for later. do we need the moonchaser to do anything else next month? i can only think of moving the thenns.

That was indeed the plan, Moonsong being the first Fey to reach the Moon would be a hell of a story. That was one of the driving forces for us building the Moonchaser for her in the first place.

so can we do so next month? i don't know how planning actually goes in the quest but this seems like something we could do next month unless we need her to be somewhere else

Next month is a bit of a stretch, given how much transporting we need to do with the Thenns, but a few months after that should be fine.

how much do we actually need to move, i know we need to move the thenns themselves but what else and how much can the moonchaser carry?
The concern is more that a trip to the Moon isn't going to be fast by any means, so we shouldn't blithely go for it if there are things we might need the Moonchaser for in on our planet or the Elemental Planes. We're going to want a window of time where we can actually afford to be without it.

so basically when we get a second one up and running we can have them go to the moon.
also 2 more things to do while we are picking up the Thenns / that burrow spirit. 1 go talk to the giants and maybe take them with us to 2 check if that beastmaster from lorath is still alive with a spell while in the area

@Duesal, Jeyne-wise, we did ask her to talk to the monks first. And she agreed. That doesn't mean we have to talk to them, but just a thing to keep in mind for @DragonParadox.

I'm... pretty sure it would be?
Like, okay, @Azel, @Crake, I summoneth thee!

I'm all but certain that I've been slammed with "no, in spehhs it will go faaast" at least on two separate occasions.

We aren't sending the Moonchaser there flippantly b/c we can make a major PR-move out of the lunar landing - but first we kinda need the Serpentstone-upgraded Mirrorvisions made and spread throughout. And preferably not being in any direct conflict at the moment, in case we do need a squad of Eldritch-killers sent there to support.

Ofc, considering what terror may await outside of Planetos, we may want to go there first, clear shit out, and then film.

Welcome to the bleeding edge of the quest, @Arawndil!
We'll try to grab the cute-sneks the moment we have time for expedition-like actions.
There are just too many assholes we need to keep an eye on to go for shinies just now
At least we are one GC less on the shitfront.

where are the Coatls again? i know one is on the moon Zethir turned into a god where is the third again?

Before going to the moon, the Moonchaser should try go, you know, reach orbit first.

After that it will likely have to spent a month in the drydock for Zero-G refits.

Dude, Jeyne already had this conversation. She went with us to Limbo. If she wants the extra training that's her choice, but for now she's fine with fighting on Prime Material. Her just going to talk to the Gith is something that's already happened, and would be a repeat. That's something @DragonParadox should keep in mind. If there's development on that front then that's worth covering, but for now it's fairly static since Jeyne has already talked to the Gith and is mostly just adventuring at this stage.

It can go fast. What I doubt is how close you guys seem to think the Moon is to us.

None that I know of, except for this time. It's normally something I take into account. Next time I update her sheet, I'm gonna make it more obvious that she's suffering an Intelligence debuff from the belt (and we're gonna craft her a more powerful Intelligence booster).
On that note, is that debuff still fitting for an artifact of Yss (Trade domain and INT debuff)? We should upgrade it.
