Hm.
I just realize that I haven't really included any guard for places that aren't the capitals of the regions (and don't hold Major Administrative/Magical/Strategic facilities) in the plan.

We probably can leave some very basic peeps in every city on the map...
...Eh, I just can't be bothered to look them all up, and I don't think we even need that level of detail, considering we barely even hear of Volantis, let alone it's minor settlements.

That's what highly mobile assets like the Heralds are for. Going into the countryside and smiting stuff once the low-level mooks on the ground have found it.

And the defense-companies are for repelling major raiding/strike-forces when/if those are sighted, yes.

My point was rather that the list I compiled is just the plan for guarding sensitive facilities (mostly, Inquisition support and important people kinda count still) - and doesn't have much in the way of the net to find stuff for Heralds to go and smash.
Those currently assigned cover trading companies, strategic and administrative facilities of great importance, Legion camps, Scholarum branches, and our governor-grade peeps.
Most of which is in "3 Sisters+SD"-area,

We'd need to make a lot more mooks, and assign them with a far wider net than I'm currently willing to do my research for, if we want to have a reliable "buffer" of forces all-around our Empire.

Or maybe I'm overthinking shit b/c I'm sleepy.

G'night everyone.

@Azel, changes to the list done.

Added Wyrmlings to Scholarum branches, other magical institutions under our control, and Inquisition support.
Olds are assigned as recommended.
Tougous made and thrown into the fray.

Added 11 Black Champs, so that we have 1 in each alchemical facility. Them guarding ~2.375 facilities per Champion was... weird, if funny :V

Added tab "Inquisition support", some cats, dragons, and general utility creatures added in.

Added "Braavos canals security" in, as an obviously much necessary force, but not yet a dedicated coast-guard company.
5 Necro-Crakens in lead-boxes as an "Open in Case of Illithids"-precaution is simultaneously funny and efficient. :V
With the current corpse stockpile, we could offset a huge amount of the expense involved in creating all of these creatures.

Which just means we can grow even more stuff.

Isn't vee better flesh crafter than all of them.
No, she's not. She just happens to be stronger than all of them. She's the best beastmistress, but flesh crafting is more of a side skill for her. For people like Saenena, Qyburn, Elaheh, and the snake dude whose name escapes me, flesh crafting is their way of life.
Hypothetical

How many Advanced Cows can we get from the Fleshforge in one order? :thonk:

Thats one way to grease the negotiations in Lorath :V
You joke, but making a new tastier hardier breed of livestock would be very useful.

Bonus points for making animals capable of surviving extreme cold. Let's give the Night's Watch some yaks!

Have them invent potatoes first, then we'll talk.
*slavs away*
They actually could invent potatoes. A Fungus Forge is perfectly capable of engineering new crops. It's just something none of us ever thought of before.

Similarly we can mass produce the saplings of rare trees and start a fairly expansive fine woods industry that'll pay off in a few decades.

Qyburn: I have invented the self-slaughtering cow!

Elaheh: Pfft, amateur. I have created a breed of cattle which tastes like chicken.

Urak the Forge Snek: My sssnack-cowsss have been altered to grow no larger than the common domessstic cat for easssy consssumption.

Lady Saenena: Sigh...at least they're not big-titted catgirls.

Viserys: "What? Oh, that's just the new calendar off the Dragons Illustrated."

Lya, lifting the current page: "...care to explain why Azema is posing in a two piece here, Viserys? With a pair of fluffy cat ears? And is that a tail inserted into--"

Viserys: "...how did that get there!"

  • [X] Meet with the Harvest Prince and the Fisher Prince at the same time.
-[X] The core offer is simple. Peaceful integration into the Imperium with all the benefits that entails, such as economic stimulus packages.
--[X] In particular, promise them to invest in the Bay of Lorath area, increasing local economic activity and thus strengthening the city itself as the focal point of this trade.
--[X] Point out that if they join, you will be the one (or your council at least) to arbitrate conflicts between Braavos and Lorath. You are not promising preferential treatment or anything, but they can expect disagreements to be arbitrated and resolved in a speedy and final fashion, entirely without the need for violence.
--[X] Otherwise they obviously get the agrarian care package of rituals and Leshies to prop up their economy. You can also negotiate a deal with local Triton tribes on their behalf for maritime endeavors.
-[X] The political system will be reformed in the following way:
--[X] The Three Princes will act as the Governor of Lorath, making decisions by simple majority. You will help them picking a good successor for the third spot if they want, or stay out of it, depending on their wishes.
--[X] The Humble Assembly will be dissolved.
---[X] Hereditary land-owners will be awarded the corresponding feudal titles as vassals of Lorath. That means they gain more autonomy in their own holdings while loosing influence on Lorath at large.
---[X] The guilds are getting shafted, but they will remain an important power-block in the new Imperial council that replaces the assembly. Sell it to the lower rungs of the guilds as a way for them to bypass the guildmasters on their path to power and watch them flock to the idea.
---[X] The appointed members get completely shafted. If they are worth caring about, they will have a shot at a council position. If not, then why bother pandering to them?

Just make the cows partially draconic; it's on brand and will contribute to Tiamat's eventual rage-stroke. :V
There is the Pit Dragon series, were the dragons on an alien planet that aren't used in fighting pits or as pets are eate in everything from stew to drinks made with dragon blood.

And the planet is a former penal colony. lt is an interesting series, with some hit and miss.

It has been so long since I read those that I'd forgotten what the series was called...but I know exactly which books you mean. I enjoyed them.

So planning for the future Illithid war...
Anyone else wants to make some of these:

I have a feeling that Yss and the Ferryman would like collaborating to make it.

AN: And we finally switched sides to the other two in that little office rivalry.
Guys, it's neat that you all kinda dogpile on Saenena being right for some reason, but the theme of this series is that everyone in Gogossos has their own baggage and issues. Hers happens to be to see everything as a courtly intrigue battlefield and trying to gain social status over others, while being a mix of arrogant and racist against everyone around her.

It's a horrible idea to put someone in charge of people they are mentally calling "it" and "creature".
I have to admit I find it a bit weird that she's so invested in the forge-internal politics.
Unlike the other players in this game she has a lot of value outside the forge, she's a dragonrider, she can do Diplo and Intrigue actions, she's even the kind of person we'd trust with regular holdings and titles outside of her field of magic.

Basically she has half a dozen ways to gain our favor, why would she be so concerned with the internal hierarchy in the Fleshforge where she spends only a fraction of her time and competes against full-time made scientists?

Possibly because her personal interests in terms of magic are really wrapped up in internal forge politics, but also more likely because he needed to have some kind dysfunction to balance out the more blatant and unbalanced ones that the others displayed. For her, it is needless politicking and scheming where none is truly manifesting because the ostensible leader in charge of overall efforts' official policy on office politics are "don't".
