Here's what I have for the level ups so far, ya'll. Garin's can wait until we settle on advancing him as a Rogue or another PRC, such as @Crake's incomplete Shadow Lord.

Not really much going for most of these, though Teana is getting access to 7th level spells. I'm not set on the skill point distribution for either Sandor or Argo, but there's not really much either of them needs to sink points in now that they've met their PRC requirements.

There are all sorts of really great spells available to Teana at this level, but I'm pushing for Greater Shadow Necromancy. It's not only quite versatile, but all Shadow Illusions Teana uses are extremely powerful and difficult to resist. With Greater Shadow Necromancy, Teana can duplicate most 6th level and lower Necromancy spells, while Greater Shadow Enchantment allows her to duplicate all 5th level and lower Enchantment spells. Combine that with her other abilities which will allow her to duplicate all Evocations spells of 6th level or lower and all Conjuration (Creation) and Conjuration (Summoning) spells of 6th level or lower (increasing to 7th level spells once she reaches 16th level and 8th level spells at 18th level), Teana is by far our most versatile non-Mythic spellcaster. The huge range of spells she can duplicate also fits really well with her role as the Headmistress of the Scholarium.

Thoughts or suggestions? I can add Garin in, too, if we settle on his route.

On this subject, you suggested replacing the wings class feature with something that improved his base teleportation feature? How would you render that mechanically?

i really don't know about level ups in 3.5 all i can see is that i think Argo is missing 1 skill point

Hm...
So, we have yet to:

[] Talk to Lady Xue, make sure she doesn't see us as an enemy nor a (political) ally.
(We have no interest in Yi-Ti politics, on the either side of the matter. But we may just send more minions here in the future, who knows).
[] Loot and consequently raise the Shadow Fortress.
(Now that we know there is nothing to gather scrying foci-wise, it is just a simple loot-and-boop matter).
[] Scry-and-loot the 3 Red Dragons (2 regular, 1 with sorcerer levels) Tiamat raised and Mindblanked.
(We have a sample of her power in the Well of Eternity that we can scry on. Bottom line, it will cost her the power of 3(!) Minblanks permanently if we throw the Dragons to Yss).
[] Have the ashes of the GC people recovered (Miracle?) and disposed of in the Fleshforges.

Illyrio and Blackheart are unavailable for Scrying.
Well, unless we cut F!Aegon up before throwing him to Yss. Which may or may not be slightly more immoral. Then we'd get an in for Illyrio... who's in the Bloodstone Emps' territory anyway.

Am I forgetting anything?
Also, does anyone remember, what has happened to that one tiny friendly Kami that tried to halp us?

Viserys: "No politics."
Xue: "...soooo politics??"
Viserys: "No politics."
Xue: "Okay, see you tomorrow for politics."
Viserys: "What did I just say!"

Yi-Tish Politics, truly a dreadful thing. So dereadful that even Kingslanding paled in comparison.

Okay, let's see what Lady Xue 'She Who Lives in Her Name' has to offer.

...hopefully some dope ass fight. That would be nice.

Xue forced the issue on meeting Viserys in the camp right? Any chance we can arrange to be doing something suitably impressive with magic as she shows up? Maybe using miracle to collect the ashes as she enters line of sight?

It's the arch mage version of forcing someone to wait in front of your desk while you finish some paperwork, but if she wants to play petty games then turnabout is fair play.

As funny as that sounds, with it even being more productive than the usual "power move" tends to be, I'd rather not mirror Tywin in anything. We might as well justify moving our writing desk to the middle of the ruins of the Golden Company camp and filling out the rest of this month's paperwork while making her wait on us awkwardly.

@ Be Lady Xue, the leader of the Shugenja serving the Orange Emperor of the Yi-Ti.
@ Recover ancient lore for a shittone of years, deal with head-deep-inside-their-asses Kami for even longer.
@ Train, meditate, teach others, be the best Spirit-wrangler around.
@ Be the grandmaster of your order.
@ There is a group of asshole dragon-fuckers enroauchaing upon the soil of your suzerain.
@ U_w0t_m8?!.png
@ Start prepping a huge-ass ritual to burn the fucks.
@ It is almost complete, your lord's armies are ready to move out as well.
@ Suddenly, another assholle dragon comes out of nowhere, burns the assholes' army, swats a huge-ass reality-warping rainbow-hydra outta the skies, and fucks off to somewhere else.
@ Yeah, he thinks he's hot shit? Your ritual is still hotter than him, and who the hell does he think he is anyway?!
@ Tell him you want to talk politics. He agrees. You're gonna nail him with facts and logic!
@ Come around the next day to see him literally sweeping the floor with the power-equivalent of your ritual. Repeatedly.

Viserys, meeting Lady Xue at a desk in the middle of burnt-out warzone:

That's fair, "the opposite of what Tywin would do" is probably a good rule of thumb for this kind of thing.

I don't like letting her operate under the assumption that she can use petty power games to move us around, but acknowledging it without reacting overtly is probably a better approach.

The ankle deep ashes of the last people to piss Viserys off make that statement better in silence than we can with any reasonable shenanigans anyway.

Don't get me wrong, if she tries to force our hand on anything, depending on the degree of guilt on that end, I am fully willing to make her life a living hell.

I would remove the Wings of Darkness ability and just slot the Shadow Jump ability from Twilight Hunter in its place. Maybe as a 2nd level ability?

Here's an updated version.
Shadow Jump (Ex): A Lord of Shadows can travel between shadows as if by means of a Dimension Door spell. This transport must begin and end in an area with at least some shadow or darkness. They can jump up to a total of 20 feet per class level per day in this way. This amount can be split up among many jumps, but each jump, no matter how small, counts as a 5-foot increment. He can choose to do this either as a Move Action or as a Swift Action. If the Lord of Shadows benefits from Shadow Jump from another source, the maximum distance traveled per day is added together rather than overlapping.

As for the Body of Darkness ability, I would scrap it entirely and simply replace it by adding Armor of Darkness to his list of spells known. It's a really nice 4th level spell for him.

For BAB and save progression, I would just continue as a Rogue does.

This doesn't further enhance his Hide or Move Silently skills, but there's really no good way to do that via PRC now. He benefits from a +10 Competence bonus to both via gear and a +8 Circumstance bonus to both from the Darkstalker ability of Twilight Hunter. Circumstance bonuses normally stack, but not if they're from the same kind of source/effect, so it wouldn't do any good to provide more of that via the Lord of Shadows PRC.

That seems okay.

Lord of Shadows

Alignment: Any non-good alignment
Skills: Move Silently 12 ranks, Hide 12 ranks, Gather Information 8 ranks
Special: +6d6 Sneak Attack, Evasion, Penetrating Strike, access to the Plane of Shadows.
Skill Points At Each Level: 8 + Int

One who stalks the night and cloaks themselves in shadows can easily tread off the beaten path into depravity and paranoid madness. While the hoarding of secrets can forge a prison stronger than steel and bars, one who has mastered this domain can in turn wield darkness as their faithful hound, like a Lord on the Hunt.

Weapon and Armour Proficiency: They are proficient with the crossbow (hand, light, or heavy), dagger (any type), dart, rapier, sap, shortbow (normal and composite), and short sword. Lords are proficient with light armor but not with shields.

Spellcasting: At each new Lord of Shadows level you gain an increase in caster level as if you had progressed in the class you belong before adopting the prestige class. You do not gain new spells per day or spells known.

Sneak Attack: This is exactly like the rogue ability of the same name. The extra damage dealt increases by +1d6 every other level (2nd, and 4th). If a Lord of Shadows gets a sneak attack bonus from another source the bonuses on damage stack.

Dark Armory: At 1st level, your connection to the Plane of Shadow grants you certain insight in confounding your enemies from seeking your vitals by no more than shaping the shadows around you. You add Armor of Darkness to your list of Spells Known.

If the Lord of Shadows benefits from Shadow Jump from another source, the maximum distance traveled per day is added together rather than overlapping.

Shadow Projection (Su): At 5th level, you infuse your life force and psyche into your shadow, causing it to separate from your body and act as an independent creature. This ability functions as shadow projection except as follows. Your shadow has the outsider type and the phantom subtype instead of the undead type. As a result, this ability does not have the evil descriptor and your shadow cannot be turned or affected as undead (though it can be affected as an outsider). You can use this ability for a number of hours per day equal to your Lord of Shadows level. These hours don't need to be consecutive, but they must be spent in 1-hour increments. Your shadow's hit points are not replenished between uses, although your shadow can be healed in the same manner as any other outsider. When this ability isn't in use, any healing done to you also heals your shadow for an equal amount.

DP only wants us to vote on level-ups separately. So we might as well just do Teana for the moment.

Yeah, I had forgotten about that. Okay, I've added Garin's level up as a Lord of Shadows to the rest, but removed the X's from all but Teana's for now while the others remain for reference purposes. We can vote on Garin's tomorrow and the others after that.

Ah, wait, I just realised that we don't need to unpack F!Aegon before Yeet'ing Yss'ing him.

Handily, we already disarmed him.
[Bazinga]
For real tho' that's a ready potential way to fuck with Illyrio later.

Just read the GC arc in the entirety.
Whoop, what a rush.
Once more, kudos to @Goldfish for pulling us through.

Questions:
1) Are we interested in the Fleshcrafter's knowledge enough to make another book out of him, instead of adding him on top of the other sacrifices? (Imo, we have enough Valyrian fleshcrafters bookshaped for any purposes. And Vee will be happy enough with the soulkill :drevil: ).

2) We kiiiinda forgot about Pol Ning. I'd rather not have the most "sensible" person in Orange's close circle be exiled/left with no power-base, especially after us having given lots of lore to her just so that she shares it with Orange and they focus on some, well, real threats.
Yet, I don't want to get into their politics.
What a fucking conundrum.

3) Shall we be meeting with Azure's representatives now/soon-ish, considering we just finished off the spy-ring?
And our people did spend some time setting up a meeting to exchange Lores between us (as a background MA last month)...

4) @DragonParadox, can we get an OOC account of how the power stolen from Timmie affected the Gods that took part?
And, like, something concise on how it must have affected Tim herself?

5)
A thin stream of smoking blood marred the Myrish carpet underfoot, but the enemy hardly seem to notice.
Should this be enough to scry onto this Dragon through the wards of wherever he's hiding, @DragonParadox? To look for his blood was specified in earlier vote...

Well, I strongly suspect we might be seeing Pol Ning pretty soon, given the way things are going.

Should this be enough to scry onto this Dragon through the wards of wherever he's hiding, @DragonParadox? To look for his blood was specified in earlier vote...

Nice catch.

We haven't really forgotten her. Remember, we just spoke with her yesterday, shortly before we ganked the Golden Company. It just seems like she got backburnered because we've had so much happening over the past two weeks of updates.

We'll probably end up interacting with her again either right before or shortly after meeting with Lady Xue.
