Ring of Twisted Wishes
Description:
A thing of gleaming brass and flowing arcane letters of the finest genie script that tells the tale of a man who in his folly sought to bind one of the Lords of Flame for their wishes, and all the horrors that were wrought by fire's twisting tongue perverting those desires.

Abilities:
1/Day can automatically counterspell a limited wish, wish or miracle spell as an immediate action.
When counterspelling with the above ability the bearer can instead attempt to twist the spell, changing some parameter to make it harmful to the caster. Each time this ability is used roll 1d20 on the following:
1: Caster is Subject to Implosion (No save; SR applies); Ring is destroyed
2-4: Caster Gains 1d4 Negative levels (DC 23 Fortitude to recover)
5-7: Caster vomits up a swarm of Flame-Spawned Vipers, becoming nauseated for 1 turn. Roll 1d2 to determine if the vipers are friend or foe
8-10: Caster loses his ability to speak an ineligible tongue, though not spellcasting, for 1d6 hours (Curse Effect)
11-13: Target is illuminated by heatless flames, per Faerie Fire for 18 Rounds
14-16: Target is subject to a targeted version of Greater Dispel Magic
17-19: Target loses a spell slot or prepared spell of its highest level (DC 23 Will save negates)
20+: The Ring's daily charge is not used

Description:
Once the whirling weapons of an Asurendra, these Valyrian Steel blades seem now invested of a will and spirit that moves and slays at the command of whoever bears them with as much skill as they themselves possess. Seals of primordial law warped and twisted endlessly swallow each other over the face of the blade.

Ability:
+2 Obedient Longsword, counts as Evil and Lawful for overcoming damage reduction.

The Avatar is objectively a better, fatter sink/target to pull the power through.
We might just get it, with the Worm coming. Better wait for a chance on her, and simply secure F!Aegon in the meanwhile.

Also I have no idea where you got the impression that was even a thing we could do, other than "lol but why not".

I disagree with the notion of talking at F!aegon on principle, not going to lie there.
I... just really don't want to grab him as a shiny, even if it is 99% is guaranteed not to work.

But, still, @DragonParadox, who'll be a better target for Well of Eternity assuming we manage to put it on them? Tiamat's avatar or F!Aegon (willing or unwilling)?
Talking purely about how much power we can siphon through.
 
The unraveling + the well of eternity seems like it might react badly. That is fundamentally opposite concepts coming in direct contact.

Viserys' best guess is that a willing Aegon using the Well on the avatar in conjunction with Dany would do the most damage, if Aegon were previously freed by the Unraveling it would be even better, but it seems likely that Tiamat set some contingency against that.
 
I just do not think we have the time to convince aegon to repent.

we have three rounds. Thats it. We might be lucky and get more, but we cant risk it.

He can't escape on his own, and if he helps now we can put her down, maybe not forever, but long enough for it not to matter. We have the means to make it happen.

To be fair, if we can conjure together flakes of skin of the Stranger's Chosen at a drop-site, and enough of them to work the Curse-staff?
Others most definitely can do the same, it is just that the power of a Miracle to do so isn't in everyone's repertoire.
 
I'm also against trying to convince f!Aegon. Yes, getting him to cooperate would hurt Tiamat the most, but we're also on a very short clock right now, and f!Aegon has every reason in the world to tell us to go fuck ourselves. I don't want to waste precious time trying to convince him.

Sounds like a good start, and doesn't lock us in on anything definite in the unlikely case it works.

It's in the repertoire for all intents and purposes of a billion of our enemies. The first person who wanted us dead from something so stupid would have already killed us through a high powered ritual.

I also don't think flakes of skin should be enough to work a strong curse, @DragonParadox. That's really stupid. Blood is important in ASOIAF, and harder to get a reliable sample of.

I would not allow random reconstituted skin to kill anyone, scry them for the purposes of teleportation yes, kill through a ritual no.
