True, but as a dragon she casts most of her spells as a sorcerer. True she could have incarnated to act more as her own cleric, for that matter she could have just taken silent spell and metamagic sorcerer, but it's not like she went into this expecting some bizarre snake begotten by a half-forgotten god to deafen her.
Another option would have been to give her Avatar less spellcasting and a whole bunch of SLA's instead, like high-end Outsiders tend to have.

Can a ring of spell-battle redirect a Disintegrate?
I thought that it didn't work on rays. I don't have the MiC with me to check though, so please take this with a grain of salt.

Looked it up, here is the exact wording from MiC:

Once per day, when you succeed in identifying a spell in this manner, you can activate the ring to counterspell that spell as if with dispel magic, or change the target of the spell to any target within 60 feet of you. If you choose an illegal target (because of the spell's range limitation or other restrictions), the spell functions normally and the effect is wasted.

Disintegrate doesn't actually have a "target" section, technically. It just creates a ray. Although the ray does have a target.

The curse unfortunately takes an hour-long ritual. :(

It'd be convenient if someone could visit Sorcerer's Deep and toss a sacrifice to Yss to have him deliver the curse, but nobody can be spared in this fight.
He was always secondary anyway. Our main prize is still here and the prick won't run if he thinks there's a chance to save his friends by killing us.

All we need to do is hold this Bitch down and let our Pantheon tear a chunk out of her putrid divine hide.

On a side note I am thrilled that this Avatar is so powerful. Her corpse will be magnificent.
Oh I was thinking of just taking it now and using it later. If he escapes, that is.
Great as a backup, but hopefully it won't need to come to that.

By my count, Viserys should have four Mythic Power remaining and Lya should have two.

We might not be able to match the Avatar's actions per round, but we can come really damned close if we push ourselves.

If Viserys simply defends, he can use his Ring of Spell-Battle for one Counterspell, he can simply cast a Greater Dispel Magic/Chain Dispel to Counter another one, burn one Mythic Power with Amazing Initiative to use his Belt of Battle to gain another Standard Action in order to Counter a third time, and finally, if absolutely necessary, use Celerity to enable one more Counter.

Dany can still use Divine Defiance to Counterspell, as well.

I want to have Lya try to use Antimagic Ray against the Avatar. Using Wild Arcana and her current buffs, she can cast it at 23rd caster level, or 33rd to overcome SR. Good chance to beat SR, but beating the Will save would be difficult, even if Dany and Teana help using Alter Fortune.

Okay, as soon as the Worm holds Tiamat firm, I suggest we offer Aegon surrender.

I know that's not a popular option here, but if there is one thing we know about magic, it's that intend matter.
Yes we can rip our price from Tiamat's avatar, but I'm willing to bet real money to internet-coins that having a willing channel in Aegon is by far better.

One chance, that's all I'm asking for. If not we drain it straight through the big lizard and kill the boy, now or later.

Edit. As an added bonus, that way we wouldn't drain the avatar and leave it perfect shape for crafting once we made a corpse out of it.

After Dany, you assume there's no Geas/Curse on Aegon?

A willing Aegon is obviously better, but I'm not willing to take the risk. He's already proven to be very hostile to us, and that moment of distraction in making the offer will probably end badly.

No.

He is a 15th+ level Cleric.
Chaining him with magic is laughable. At this point long-term magical bindings would be either crippling or useless and he didn't fight like a cripple.

He can certainly defy, just as any CLeric can.
The relevant question is if he will do it, nothing else.

After the Worm has Tiamat and our concentrated forces are using her body as a punching bag, we can afford 1d2 rounds for an offer.

Keep in mind that Aegon rejecting Tiamat was always Varys' plan. For all his daring (going into madness) he wouldn't have bet on that for no good reason.

That really depends on if he's willing to go for it.

Keep in mind we turned his mother figure into a turtle, his "uncle" into a corpse, and are currently in the process of destroying literally everything he's worked to achieve.

Him surrendering to us would be like us surrendering after we watched someone kill Dany, Our mother, Lya, and was still in the process of burning Sorcerers Deep while planning on harming the Old Gods by desecrating the Dawn Tree.

For the sake of balance (and lore coherency) I'd say one can only use one instance of Alter Fortune for any single roll

It's not a good chance.

But he knows death is not permanent and I'm certain someone who had to work with Granny for an extended time will be happy for a chance to screw her over.
If we go maximum mythic charisma we might have a chance.
