We'd have to use Gate. We can't Teleport so many living people. However if we Awakened the Moonchaser and froze it in amber, it might work!
I did not do the math but even if Viserys could carry the ship he could not do the same to the crew unfortunately.

Edit: Facceless'd

2-3 days

Shadow Tower Shenanigans! We already went over this. We can carry everything everywhere.

But I like this narratively so I will shut up.

@DragonParadox, this would be a great opportunity to shift focus for a few days, either to Rhaella in the Reach or Dany preparing the mugging of Tiamat.

What's been going on in Yi-Ti?

And you could always have us to background policy votes or something. "What do you want to develop next after the Messenger Service?", etc. These things don't get debated and are usually quietly chosen by our chief Google-Sheet users (@Crake does it, I think) but I'm sure it would spark debate if it was the topic and the general options were outlined as suggested options.

Because it seems like we do have a general policy (we tend to do the same actions in various provinces, often in the same order), so why not debate it?

This does get voted on. Not many people express any interest in strategic actions, and most flippantly say they should be redone. I'm more concerned with the fact that narrowing scope hurts worldbuilding and the strategic actions are already very broad and very vague... and not that difficult to understand, there's just a lot because we're overambitious twats and decided to conquer the world.

Heh. It's funny to see this from the outside.

  1. Sure I could do some Yi Ti
  2. I don't want to anticipate turn plans, those get a long voting period for a reason.

I didn't mean that we should re-litigate a turn plan or anything. I just think that sparking debate here is a good way to get a feel for everyone's preferences without these infrastructural actions getting outshone by all the far more important stuff in the turn plans. This would be a "what are your priorities?" vote, and not a "what are you committing to?" vote.
We don't need to commit to anything, anyway. The current system works fine, and Crake is doing a great job. I read them every month adn generally don't have anything to add there.

"One need not be a sorcerer, great or small, to have a worthy idea," Rhaella encouraged. She was still grappling with the fact that what they had found was not some otherworldly plot save perhaps by virtue of training the wrong mage.

Now that Rhaella has had time to see our kingdom, get to know us, our friends, and the world in general. What does she think about all of that, her dead husband, and the Starks?

I pick what seems to align with the current thread zeitgeist generally anyway. Hence literally no opposition or suggestions.

  1. She despises what Aerys became in his later years, though she regrets the brother she remember from their childhood
  2. As for the Starks, Brandon and Rickard's death was a tragedy in her eyes there was never a question bout it, she even regreted the execution of Aerys' mistress for supposed treason. She sees Eddard fondly for keeping Rhaegar's son safe

...If it is of any consolation, exactly the same stuff happens unless I really push and guilt-trip the thread into interacting with the monthly lists of Minor Actions.
...Or the updates to the lists of Research-Actions.
...Or the compilations of Adventuring/Delve-locations.

If you were to post the infrastructure-related projects as a vote, and have no other things voted on for a whole day, there would be some discussion...
But most will likely be of the "I read the list and I like it!"-kind.

So yeah. Just how things are in a highly-cooperative thread.
Thanks for doing what you are doing, keep doing what you are doing, and I will not contribute anything. [:V]

With all the dragons we keep meeting, we are eventually going to end up with an uncontrollable, drunk dragon party night sooner or latter. With hundreds of worried servants running around after their masters.

I don't drink, but it feels like something funny if we defeat a big enemy and forget who we are celebrating with.

@Crake, this was absolutely not meant to disparage what you're doing. Right now I absolutely agree with it.
It's just that in the long term I can see several options (do our Lawmen come first, or do we start with better roads? Or education or feeding the poor as fast as possible, relying on existing roads and law enforcement for a few more months?) and I thought we'd get some debate going on that.
If you think I'm wrong, fine, that's not a huge issue and this was just a passing suggestion.

Food and education priority first please. You can retroactively judge crimes. Cant fix starvations and good roads are essential anyway.

Thus you decide on Bonecrab Reef, a ring reef that serves as an anchorage for ships trading with Dawa and beyond. Still well within Vialesk's territory and host to a significant garrison of the Star Guard, the citizen-soldiers of the city. The commander of said garrison probably is not going to be enthused at the notion of playing host to draconic negotiations, but that worry is far easier to bear than the Council's.
@DragonParadox, so for the Marid Ward Lore we purchased from our new allies back in our first trip to the Plane of Water, does it differ in any way to what Vialesk or other cities and forts use?

No one goes hungry in the Imperium unless they choose to live out in the hinterlands or refuse work and/or charity, and we already make education available to anyone who is interested in learning.

We consistently spend a huge amount of money and manpower to upgrade infrastructure, promote agriculture, and maintain consistent and fair law enforcement.

Civilization is great. :)
