We should visit the Dornish Tourney, at least long enough to teach "Shit's Fucked, Yo" 101 to our Dornish Lords while incognito as the Most Interesting Man in the World.

Edit: will have something tossed together later, if you don't have one already.

What is the Westeros situation looking like anyway?

I know we've picked up some new vassals and Best Uncle is doing his best at babysitting the king and preventing his cuckolding wife from killing him like the short sighted maniac she is, but not much else.

Is there even anything left to do at this point? We've dealt with the faith, The Court is being stymied by the Seven's champions (in so much as they can with all the other fires littering their proverbial doorstep), and most of the populace is informed of various threats and other dangers due to the newspaper bomb (and I love the fact that we can just keep doing that due to the magic printing press) so what else is left besides taking out the Big idiot and helping the rat-folk clean the literal shit river they've been forced to live in?

I will throw something basic together and add it then, and later just change it to your specifications.
I change the phrasing of MAs all the time anyway, albeit not their meaning (honest! I just write like shit 90% of the time, and sometimes I see where's shit post-factum).

So, regarding the Forbiddance plan for the fortress, some things come to mind:
1) Expecting a few thousand to keep the password a secret is hopeless.
2) It will take a shitton of spell slots and time from Viserys.
3) It's the same spell, cast by the same caster, over and over. That's begging for some ressonance-type bullshit that shatters our entire anti teleportation ward system in one go.
4) Pumping CL isn't a trick exclusive to ourselves, and there are tricks to raise dispelling specifically.

Should probably enact both plans.

1) The password only prevents one from taking damage from the effect of an Alignment conflict, not the anti-Teleportation effect. It will be simple to distribute the password to those who need to know It a relatively short time before the ritual commences.
2) The plan calls for Viserys to do the warding gradually overall several days so as not to overly exhaust his spell slots.
3) That's completely outside the rules we operate by, so would have to be a narrative decision by DP. If that happens, then it was likely to occur in that manner anyway.
4) Its easier to boost caster level when everything is calm and you have time and spell slots to burn rather than in the middle of combat. Even with caster level boosts, it would be very difficult to successfully meet the requirements needed to overcome the enhanced Forbiddance wards. And if the effect is Dispelled or Disjoined in any given location, only a single 60 foot cube is likely to be affected per casting.

We're not expecting the defenses to be impregnable, but merely to slow down and distract attackers while defenders whittle them down and the ritual is completed.

That said, I hope we can also arrange the purchase or even rental of a Weirdstone. That would be ideal.

Probably as they come up, really.

Gith and Marid alike, may want either more, or different variations of creatures when we'll visit them this month.

Would but make sense to throw those we'd be making for ourselves with both of those votes, imo - less time spent OOC that-a-way.

I would like to wait until this weekend for our own orders if possible, to give u a better chance to work everything out. There were some mistakes made last time which I would have probably caught if I hadn't been distracted at work.

DP hasn't had any problems letting us backdate decisions like that when time didn't permit is to get them taken care of in proper order.

I mean, in the update Darleth was worried about resonance between acid and fire resistance. Introducing a new conceptual weakness is entirely in us wanting to be cheap.

It's likely to last a whole lot more than a few rounds. Things such as Surge of Fortune go a damn long way towards helping breach things, to say nothing of items and weird abilities.

It's hard, but not impassable.

The stationary enchanted defenses are likely to be sufficiently layered and redundant that they could bounce back from large scale disruptions, while simple cast spells really aren't.

It's not worth the million and change savings.

We shouldn't be cheap, in any aspect of the fortress, if we want it to slow them down properly, into.
 
Darleth thinks two elemental resistances is enough of a foothold for them to fuck with.

Thirty identical, "free-floating" Forbiddances is asking for it.

A dispelled spell is gone. A dispelled item bounces back in a few seconds.

We should be thinking as if we were assaulting the place.
