  • [X] Before moving on to the Chosen of Smith, attempt to find more about his mysterious "benefactor".
-[X] Move to the divined "dead drop" spots, and apply Stone Tell, Speak with Plants, Retrocognition, in an attempt to learn more of the Mindblanked person -what spells it used (if any), the appearance it took, any specifics and tells the spells can give.
-[X] Use the Gloves of Object Reading to find further information if anything is found on any of the drop sites.
--[X] Apply spells that would increase our chances of finding otherwise impossible-to-find objects.
--[X] Limited wish, Wish and Miracle to restore/gather specs of skin, that could have reasonably fallen off the Mindblanked person when depositing the materials - and/or their hair.
---[X] Cast perception-increasing spells in order to see those in the first place.
-[X] Make sure not to visit the latest "drop spots" from the start, they may be watched in one way or another, it would be better not to alert the Mindblanked being of us looking into it.

So, we have a "captured" Grave Knight.

What do we do with him?
Purify the armor, killing him in the process, to use it as a regular item?
Or research the reasonably powerful undead?
Or ask if he is interested in a new employer?

After interrogating his metal suit I kinda want to throw him at Qyburn just to see what he can do with it. If he can use it for something or if it lowers the DC for certain researches. Afterwards if there is anything left I would throw the armour to the trees.

"Happy Dragon Charity Day, Qyburn!" Viserys said as he dropped a bundle of ribbon-tied armor reeking of Necromantic power at the disgraced Maester's feet before climbing back into Balerion's massive saddle, readjusting his odd red hat, and blasting into the sky while trailing red and black sparks.

Remember when we got a bunch of Efreet magic cannons?

I still think that they're a beautiful opportunity to infiltrate the Golden shields some more. We ought to take our golden-skinned Devil guide once more and try to sell it to them!
It's a way in and an opportunity to gather information, maybe grab an agent or two, and hopefully turn one or two (Diplomancy and/or just making a really good offer).

We're exterminating the GC soon. Infiltrating them seems pointless when we have so much other stuff going on.

Are we planning on moving on them next month? because if so then this is not needed. I like the plan and we can even have one of the shadow things bind itself to the agent if we fail to recruit any.

Edit: Faceless'd

Eh, we'd be attacking in half-a-month at most from now.
I don't really think there is any point to trying to grab any agents in enemies' midst via such subterfuge, not right now - when Tiamat knows we are planning to attack her soon.

We will have a Mindblanked team Divining and reconnaissance'ing us where's and when's for our main attack on the Golden Company, yes -
[] Gold, Broken - Final Preparations: WIth general knowledge on Golden Company, their Shadow Fortress and the spy-ring in Yi-Ti acquired, it is time to do the final preparations before the amassed attack - scouting out the locations of commanders, and such matters - things that Mindblanked companions would be needed for because of Tiamat's clerics constant Divination.
--(The attack itself is a "free" action, but dealing with preparations, and mopping up the remains would take a week+ of time from the group assigned)
---- Waymar, Tyene, Teana, Rina, Dany, Richard, 1 Mind Dragon
But I don't think there is a point to playing arms dealer by now.

EDIT: Multi-track Facelessing?

They meant Golden Shields, not the Golden Company.

I'm guessing Tyler of the Lakes, quote unquote because that's not his real name specifically, agent we encountered in the Opaline Vault.

I guess at least three of us have Tiamat on our brain...it is a very good idea. I would like to infiltrate them through our contact and shadow creature thing. Speaking of those things can we make shapeshifter remains from the forge?

Literally said Golden Shield, people :D

@egoo, it sounds like a real action to me... Such a scheme would probably take a few days. But how about this :
-[X] Attempt to sell salvaged Efreet ship weapons to the Golden Shields to gather information, re-using our previous guise.

What level caster is Tyler of the Lakes? Yes I know it isn't his real name...actually can we get some of his blood? Like discreetly. Maybe have him be ambused, bleeding and then we come in to save him...meanwhile also having his blood.

If we're doing this can we wait until after we murder Tiamat's dragons? Those are really nice siege engines I want to exploit.

Reading comprehension failure on my part, but I am no more interested in doing this with the Golden Shields as I am the Golden Company.

It seems like too much trouble for too little gain. Everyone involved will have to be Mind Blanked, which will also raise its own issues for so many to be so thoroughly protected, else cursory Divination will give away the game.
