Fair point, I'm just annoyed when I miss out like that. I'll see if I'm up do delivering a quality update in an hour or so, it is getting really late for me and I'd rather have two updates than a rushed third update
Yeah, I mean it's genies, there's hardly a better place for it.
Fair, if you guys want the story I'll do that tomorrow. I really did need to describe the way back and the discussions since it informs both the world and the characters. Skimming over that just makes the world feel hollow and video-gamy for lack of a better term

The interlude was great, BTW. I knew we would be seeing more of Silas when he first showed up. He was too interesting to be a one-time guest on the Maelor show.

Maelor gets 2930 XP which puts him at 92629/ 91000, that's a level up. Bronn did not level but Sarel did. She did most of the heavy lifting fighting the mage after all

Edit: Seriously though, being able to Teleport is a hallmark that you've finally made it as a mage.

He'll have a pair of them waiting for him on his first visit to SD next month.
And some other goodies, because he's earned it and needs every edge he can get in the City of Brass.
So I've thought about it and I don't think I can do that third update justice this late. We've been building up to talking to R'hllor since at least Lys. That's not something to write at midnight half-asleep.

Unfortunately not, there is just too much to do to cover in a a few days and that;s the standard for MA, anything less than a few days.

@DragonParadox Not sure if you caught onto how I framed this part of the vote, but I had Viserys opt to meditate at the Dragonmont not just because of its strong sympathetic connection to the concept of Fire, but also its connection to House Targaryen. A bit of home field advantage when seeking out a direct doorbell to Burny would ordinarily be entirely his turf.

Let's brings some friends with us as I don't feel totally comfortable going to Dragonstone by Viserys' lonesome. Also this lack of comfort is making me angry towards the Lannisters and I will gladly take it out on them soon enough.

Incidentally, what form do you guys think trying to talk to the red god should take? The default vote was for meditation, but I'm kind of partial to the idea of casting a mythic summon planar ally on the center of his temple.
Is it a bad idea? Probably, but it does make a point about how we are not praying to him.
also @Goldfish on banishing blade, I was mostly laughing at the imagery that form of banishment invokes. The main benefit is the free bull rush every round. Not universally useful, but the ability to knock around his opponents without using up his own action is pretty good.

I am somewhat concerned that without a priest or someone with connections to Rhllor we might come across interception by other beings (Ymeri, Tiamat etc).
