So, a bit of a random question for you guys. How did you all find this quest? I personally found it's TV tropes page after I read Droman's Dragon in the North, which made me actively look for more quests to read and possibly take part in. Just asking out of idle curiosity.

Trawling through Spacebattles' ASOIAF fanfic thread and got hooked by the line: Viserys becomes a thief to support his baby sister...
He became a magpie instead! I want my money back!

And after that we will build more inhabitable places in the solar system, though they wont be planet shaped, there aren't many more inefficient habitat design than planets, the only reason to use them, is that they come pre-built.

Planets are highly efficient just very resource intensive, they survive the eons of gravitational stressors that would need to be accounted for in any other design and use that to generate power and heat.

I found this quest VERY early on before i had an account but, since i was still new to the site and hadn't made an account, i closed the browser and went to bed. Next morning i had forgotten the name of the quest and couldn't find it again.

Fast forward a year or two, by now i have an account, and i am looking for a long quest to read since i enjoy binging such quests and came accross his king of man quest. Read it all, loved it, and checked if he had any other fics. Found this again and i have been half lurking ever since

After the conclave we invited the Maiden and her friends to come see our kingdom iirc. Did they ever show up?
Probably divined ahead of time to see when they would get an appointment if they sent a message ahead to the Keep. TBH though that's not likely, we would make time for Danelle (and Lucan, albeit not for the same reasoning) if they wanted to meet. As in, we would interrupt whatever we were doing to do so if at all possible.

Of course, they could just be busy... extremely extremely busy... not doing politics... because religion and faith aren't at all political, no sir.

They're very sturdy I agree, they aren't an efficient habitat though, even with all the extra maintenance, it's still much more efficient to not build a planet.

Efficiency is building cost plus maintenance cost, and the maintenance for a non-planet habitat, would take billions of years, to rack up a big enough bill, to cost more than building a planet, and while we want to think long term, that's a little too long term.

Blood Raven hasn't said anything about them at court. None of the lords have mentioned them. The 7 kingdoms are big. I guess it's possible they aren't doing anything interesting.

That's time limited efficiency though, as you just stated in the long enough run it is more efficient.

I'm definitely arguing past the point of our use, just wanted to point out that planets ain't so bad, they've done well by us so far.

Of course planets aren't so bad, I was just pointing out that the idea of building a planet is stupid, for an intelligent species needs there's so many cheaper structures, you can make to serve the same purpose.

By the way @Tman2033, you're nearing the part of the story where we'll meet Rina, and the plans made by Snowfire to lead to that was to me, the most missed thing this thread has after he's gone.

Prepare yourself, for Viserys' longest day. Or as I like to call it, the Interrupted Picnic Arc.
