That's a whole different ball game, dude. We have very few of those and their expertise is barely relevant to this situation. Denys and Mercy should be plenty.

Nobody in our realm is more an expert on Leylines than Flesh Forge experts, they are also extremely skilled in biology and the effects of the arcane on enhancing, mutating and twisting it.

Them being busy is one thing, but this couldn't be anymore within their realm of expertise.

Two possible solutions:

Rotation. Have the workers take some time off. It reduces exposure.

Have the Fey check them. Helps build goodwill. These fey will probably ask for something affordable and good for the land.
I'm wary of involving the Fey. That's just asking for trouble, considering their previous adversarial relationship with Lychester and his armsmen. We already have a decent bit of good will with them thanks to our recent meeting.

Part of my plan calls for learning how much time a worker can be exposed before they begin suffering incurable side-effects from the Wild Magic. With that knowledge, Lychester can easily rotate new workers in to replace old ones before things get out of hand.

Yeah, but they don't deal with Wild Magic in any way, and the ley lines that help power their Flesh Forges are stable and controlled.

With a necessary Progress of 10 and confirmation from DP that Denys is capable of conducting the research, I don't see any need for trying to involve one of our fleshcrafters.

And this is Westeros, so there is always a chance for some shit to go down and them to be forced to murder some noble fuckwit and his armsmen. With that in mind, it wouldn't be a bad idea to send along a few guards/assistants. Maybe a small squad of Legion soldiers?

Perhaps a flock of Verdant Spine Hawks.

Mountainous wilderness will allow them to make good use of their mobility and aerial superiority while remaining discrete roosting nearby.

We have the following Fleshforging-related projects on wait-list, at the very minimum.
[] Project Praetorian: WIth use of Fleshforges, create the sort of soldiers that could reaonably fight even Outsiders - elites and Champions the Empire will need in the coming years. (Progress 40 Cost 35,000 IM)

[] The Forge Restored: Centuries of disuse and the waning of magic it survived done little good to one of the most potent weapons of Valyria... Something you had yet to fix.
-[] Increase in CR of creatures available to create in Fleshforge of Lys to 15 (Progress: 10)

[] Watchful Eyes, by Aeons untouched: Attempt to create the Watchman-creature template (Progress: 25, Cost: ??)

[] To Curb a Dreadful Hunger. The Far-Spawn being that had once been disguised as a chest hungers for the flesh of thinking beings, but it is more than its instincts however strange. Perhaps the forge could help it live on healthier fare (Progress: 5 Cost: 4000 IM)

[] Reforging Anew the Secrets Lost: The technique of making Seeker-constructs was lost alongside Valyria itself... Untill you took the forge of Gogoss and it's secrets. However, for all their utility, the method of their creation... is severely lacking.
-[] Re-create the ritual technique necessary to create Seekers, without a need for unborn children, or otherwise equally unethical resources, to be used.
(Progress: 25, Cost: )
And only Urak the Forgemaster, Vee and Elaheh Marita as Fleshcrafters, for a total of 3 people (for a given definition) knowing what they are doing.

We really have more projects than we can chew through, and a single leyline crossroad is really not worth any of theirs' time.
We can look into what it'd cost to build a new FLeshforge after we rebuild the old ones to former glory.

It's Ley line research, couldn't we just make a couple research oriented Leshies, and have them do it, I mean the old gods know a lot about Ley lines, so this sound like the kind of thing, any research oriented being with access to the old gods knowledge could do.

Good night guys, see you tomorrow with more Riverlander politics and Yi Ti intrigues and culture.

I'm afraid not, mass producing researchers breaks the action system.

We're going to have to place an order to grow those next month. None exist at the moment.

We could send other Plant creatures, though. A bunch of Bladelead Children of the Briar maybe, along with a couple Verdant Wolves? The Verdant Wolves could pretend to be really smart horses if we lend them Greater Ribbons of Disguise.

Don't forget the symbiote project? We have done the research to make dragon daggers already, the next step, would be figuring out how to make other forms of living weapons, from there we go to living armor, then we get the armor to blend with the user and we have symbiotes.

I still very much want to someday make plant Voltron, though I mainly want to be able to add a few CR3-4 creatures to a legionnaire, to make them able to effectively fight on planar battlefields.

Narratively let's just stick to one thing at a time. We're not done politicking yet. If at all possible I'd really like to finish up with Houses Caron and Dondarrion in the Stormlands.

I don't see how making use of imperial infrastructure in the background is in any way at odds with that.

Anyway, @Goldfish see below for confirmation. We could already have the order in the forge right now.

Oh I thought we found them last time I asked in Opaline Vault 6 months or so ago.

I will remember to look again but still, is there a way to put in the order before a turn vote?
Sure, there is no IC impediment, also I may just be forgetting a ruling from months ago so if you can find a ruling on deep badgers I'll stand by it.

Off-topic, but Mantarys' Law rating is 1 point away from maxing out.

They are already the most lawful part of our entire realm.

@DragonParadox I mean that, that's not an abstraction in anyway, they adhere to Imperial Law in accordance to what we've imposed the closest, even more closely than our capital. :wtf:

I asked DP before, we can make Fungus/Flesh orders at any time. There's no requirement to wait.
For accounting purposes and the sake of not making things any more complicated than necessary, I would really prefer to place our orders once at the beginning of each month. That's only a week away IC. Then we can order several flocks of them.

I would prefer sticking to making singular order once a month.
For ourselves, at least.

Makes it much, much easier to find it afterwards, and generally keep track of stuff - also without that slight strain on SoD from the fact that we don't have any restrictions on how much a Flesh-Forge can make throughout a given period of time, apparently.

EDIT: Goldfish'd.
That's only a week away IC.

For my end it's because if we start randomly flooding in orders at any time it becomes hell to keep track of. If we limit it to once a month it becomes so much easier.

Well it does sort of make sense when once considers the horrific dangers Imperial law protects them from. Most people never see more occult dangers, the people of Manatrys have only to wait a few weeks for the next ash storm carrying the blood-scent of Doomed Valyria.

That will be super cool! Still hyped that I accidentally made a new kind of True Dragon. :)
It's really cool that we are doing this.
I love it.

You are aware though, that by not protesting when the concept of a new dragon-type first came up you also volunteered to build their Wyrmlings based on the assumption that the original Mind Dragons are Mature Adult (or somewhere around there) of their species?;)

Easier for orderly people maybe, this is discriminatory against the whimsical and absent minded

Wait, Goldfish's proposed versions grow more powerful? I thought that that was as strong as they get. The Flesh Forge shouldn't be able to make creatures beyond CR 15 yet.
