Here is my thought. Since feeding this thing could influence its feeding mechanism I would suggest that it be equal parts (as close as possible)demon and devil. We have a cacophony of demons we don't use.

Edit: We still have Lormar. Kick him into this also.

@Duesal, not only did we Summon two Drowning Devils which have a Swim speed, we also Summoned 33 Accomplice Devils. They're swimmers, too.

EDIT: Better yet, the Accomplice Devils are serpent-like, and have an alternate snake-like form which has two heads, one at either end of its body. That's pretty thematic for our purposes.

Yeah, it is very convenient for us. I'm looking through the summoning list and the Larder now to put together a halfway coherent proposal.

Apparently people want to keep it alive to get the Ectoplasmatist class out of it, so for now I'll try to see if I can make an arrangement that temporarily spares it.
Ectoplasmatist isn't worth holding back on sacrifices for, IMO. There are many better options.

I agree with that, but, well, let's keep a lid on it for a short while. Less salt that-a-way.
We are due using up almost all sacrifices we have soon enough, anyway.

Not so fast. The Flesh Forge started off with Mighty to begin with, just like it started off with fire and dragon themed stuff. You'll want to clarify with DP a bit on that. Maybe he'll let it be tossed in the Fungus Forge instead.

I wouldn't save it for the Fungal Forge. As a CR +5 template, we would be stuck applying it to CR 5 creatures, which would be a waste. No telling when the Fungal Forge will get upgraded.
 
I'm thinking the following for empowering the Yss Herald:

32 Accomplice Devils -- Total CR 14
2 Handmaiden Devils -- Total CR 16
2 Drowning Devils -- Total CR 10
1 Cornugon (Asmodeus) -- CR 16

It exceeds CR 18 in total with the Handmaiden Devils and the Asmodeus Cornugon alone, and the Drowning Devils take care of the swim speed.

Alright, but point is that it's completely redundant on the Flesh Forge, so hopefully DP lets us use it where it'll actually do something.

Just imagine how the rest of the planes will react to Yss once he's back up to (and past) full power. It'd be like seeing an old ass cop that gave you trouble a kid not only still alive 40 years later, but swole as fuck and working for a PMC.

Once you upgrade the Fungus Forge, yes.
I'm pretty sure DP ruled somewhere around here that the Tempaltes are auto-shared in month-or so thanks to OGs being connected to both facilities.

Yeah, that would pay for it in totality. The Accomplice Devils are a bonus that can probably be shifted over to empowering the staff.

If this were a nebulous sacrifice I'd just dump as much as possible onto the Herald, but we already know exactly what we're paying for, so no need to pay more than necessary in this case.
