They might against one Red, but not against him and a bunch of high level PCs.
Form the perspective of an arrogant Brine Dragon it is concievable we would face him in duel if challenged.

Regardless if that is true, it could be what he measures his chances against, not the against the full power of our fully prepared and operational war-party.

When the oldest cathegory of the dragon type, a Great fuckmothering Wyrm, is only(heh) 19 CR... that's almost not a danger by our standards, given a decent party composition.
Old Brine is mere CR14.
Don't go too far in the other direction to underestimate them.

PAthfinder is somewhat under-CR compared to 3.5 dragons, I think.
An Old Red is CR 20, but has far less magic, weaker armor and attacks and the Great Wyrm Brine has some seriously mean tricks with his Painful Strikes (making a DC 30 fortsave against Stun against each one of the Dragon's 5 natural attacks (before adding Rapidstrike or such) is hard).

...So, shall we try visiting other city-states in PoW, and order more items/look for more mercs?
We have the time, at least a week for sure.

  • [X] Network with the Trade Houses, working out deals for the sale of the goods you've brought and arrangements to ply more trade toward them on an ongoing basis. Cite that trips would often coincide with a great unleashing of goods from the Garden but due to political obstacles and other matters such as Farspawn taking away your attention, it is quite unfortunate that their own merchants will have difficulty plying those routes. Now if only caravans could move through those portals unmolested, they would not be reliant on you to provide such goods and craft on a regular basis and their rivals would not be scrambling to buy what you bring out from under them...
[X] Preceding this, celebrate Dany's nameday at home and have Relath make some arrangements to sponsor various artists for some anti-Efreeti propaganda, and spread tales of your own raiding on them.

We'll likely be all-in against Tiamat.
Maybe after her but before Illithids/Asmodeus?

But hey, we'll definitely have dragons to fight there.
That's fine. Hey you think we will find a Gloom Dragon when we deal with the Undead issue? Any any info the 9 Undead Kings thing? Hoping one of them is one. Could be another remnant from the age of dragons. Elder Wyrm Gloom Dragon. What CR is that?

Frost dragons up north, Gloom dragons out east.

I dunno the lore associated with Lady Dustin enough to really speculate, but it would be so amusing if Xor somehow attracted her attention in an amorous way.

This looks like another promising interlude arc, with or without a Westerosi cougar trying to sink her claws into Xor.

Let's see:

Barbery was Brandon Stark's, aka Ned's older brother, lover and hates the fact he was engaged to Catelyn Stark instead. She blames the institution of Maesters (she calls them grey rats) in general since she thinks that Winterfell' Maester at the time, Walys, inflammed Rickard Stark's (Ned and Brandon's dad) "Southern Ambitions."

She later was married to Willam Dustin. This guy died while Ned was trying to rescue Lyanna at the Tower of Joy and Ned wasn't able to return the body. Barbery has nutured a seething resentment against Ned for this since then, to the point where in Canon she states she would actively prevent Ned's bones from resting in Winterfell's crypts for this slight.

I imagine her being Barrow town's ruling lady at all is Ned trying to make amends because she has no blood ties to justify her rule. Seriously, she was born a Ryswell , married a Dustin--the rulers of Barrowtoen--and is still ruling the place as a Dustin even after her husband died before giving her any kids. It's kinda fucking strange.

Oh right her sister Bethany Ryswell is/was married to Roose Bolton and gave birth to his only true born son, Domeric Bolton. I imagine the kid/her nephew is still squireing in the Vale and hasn't gotten Ramsey'ed yet.

For us she probably hates the Measters as much as we do and thus would be totally for supporting institutions that would take away power from them. She also resents Ned but also has a really sketchy power base that probably only exists has due to Ned's support. She's tied to the Boltons, who we've suborned already, by marriage and a nephew.

Any any info the 9 Undead Kings thing?
Not really.
We've sent Anu, Melisande and Shadow!Tor away with the task of finding us an effective way inside - along with asking those "scholars"-undead to help them because of those very "kings".
But that aside, we know little, and certainly no news.
We'll get them soon enough, I recon.

Honestly, at this point I'm certain I pushed for everything I could have in regards with dealing with TImmie.
We are empowering the "Snare" as much as we can (even if I'm greatly against involving R'hlor), Dany is having a talisman made to counter "Dragons"-domain of hers...

We had also sent off significant forces to root out their spy network in Yi-Ti, and some people to get us information on location and up-to-date numbers of Golden Company.

And there is an MA voted on for this month, that will have us visit that rebellous General in Yi-Ti and have him informed of GCs antics.
At the very least he won't be bothering us while we'll be exterminatin', I hope.

If we succeed in finding an in into Shadow Fortress...
Well, I'm sure Azure Emperor will largely handle the spy-network.
Simulataneous attack on GCs and the Fortress with our PCs would wreak havoc.

Even if we totally fail in our plan to "syphon power" from Tiamat, we'll have all her active assets destroyed.
And even all those RAs centred on it, will not go in vain either.
Dany isn't leaving this without a Mythic Rank, come SoD or Hammer of Waters.

@DragonParadox, what are the age categories of Kalatrangor the Rune-Carved, Alathrax the Bitter, Galzerai, and Althazi the Deathless? You have a habit of using "wyrm" as a substitute for "dragon" so now I don't know when you just mean dragon and when you're referring to the age.

@DragonParadox is Relath kin to any of the Brine Dragon Lords?

He is somewhat distantly related to Kalatrangor

  1. Kalatrangor the Rune Carved is Old
  2. Alathrax the Bitter is a Wyrm
  3. Galzerai is also a Wyrm
  4. Althazi the Deathless is Very Old

So...
Next month's all Inquisition actions on checking through every sensitive positions-filling person with those Pearls we bought?

Obviously we are installing a fair bit around - I'd say roughly two and a half thousand should barely but do basic coverage for:
a) all inquisition offices and/or headquarters
b) all administrative buildings of high importance (I.e. Alinor's place, Governor's offices, etc.)
c) Planar Terminus
d) all Scholarums
e) all Legion Headquarters
f) all higher educational establishments (I.e. SD's officer/engineer university, Myr glassmakers, bravos shipyarders, etc.)
g) all Silver Serpent offices.
h) SD's metalworkers, Hardening Chamber and Menagerie.

Problem arises in SD even more though.
We already have population that would trigger the sensors.
300 aberration-tainted if I'm not wrong..?
Or was that a thousand?

Either way, plenty of people to hide spies in, or masquerade such as.
And we also don't want to seem anywhat racist to those poor fellas :/

Any ideas on this thing in general, @Crake, @Goldfish?
