Commissioned items have been added to the appropriate section of the Armory.

Speaking of commissioned items, @DragonParadox, we have four sets of Soulfire Bracers commissioned on the 3rd of last month. Safe to assume someone made the quick trip there to pick them up for us? I can go ahead and move them to the Wondrous Item section.

Yes, you can just add them over. An Erinyes could have picked them up easily.

BTW, we voted to purchase all the single-use Teleport, Plane Shift, and Sending charms that we could, but it wasn't in the latest chapter. No need to add them now, but if you could put them in tomorrow that would be great.

-[X] Bluntly: "You are trying to ascend." Wave off her first response with a smile. "I can hardly fault the ambition, look no further than myself for those who the blood shows true in the end."
-[X] If we guessed correctly: "That is a perilous path as I have come to discover, though one which research over long centuries holds little relevance. Dragons are creatures of deeds as much as depthless ambition. In some places the waters are hard to tread and there is little room for one to stretch their wings." The Plane of Water's power balance has likely found a degree of equilibrium, at least for now compared to wars being fought elsewhere. Not much opportunity to stoke one's soul to greater heights. "Such is not the case in my realm."
@Crake, that's a pretty big leap of logic. There are a dozen potential reasons she could show interest in Relath, from having encountered him on his last visit when he was tight-lipped about where he ruled to being related to him. I'm not sure why the immediate assumption is that she's trying to ascend.

You're right, no need to be rude out of hand.

Though I only went with that guess because I'm probably right. My logical leaps being correct or not doesn't matter though, I suppose, I could be on-point again but it still might be something one doesn't want made known for a variety of reasons.

Edited in Relath trying to pry her motivations out of her in private.

Changing vote!

Also for the Battlemage Marid. Describe the Hammer for the Waters Spell and the even in question it is based on?

As to the Dragonblooded I am guessing she is interested in pulling a us and becoming a full Brine Dragon.

As someone progressed enough to already be casting 9th level spells, I don't see how she's going to manage it she doesn't have the runway to match that height.

Spellbane is essential, but it's a once per day kind of spell. Fire and forget, basically. I would prefer to use one Mythic Power each day to cast it with Wild Arcana. That raises the caster level by +2, so right now it would have a minimum duration of 22 hours, but more importantly, the current caster level is 22nd. We want its caster level to be as high as possible to avoid it being Dispelled or suppressed by another Spellbane effect.

It should actually be cast each day while Dany is refreshing her Persistomancy, with Lya using an Harmonic Chorus spell on Viserys to push its caster level to 26th (in conjunction with a canceled Moment of Greatness). With the bonus from one of Viserys' rings, that would raise the caster level of the Spellbane to 30th vs Dispelling and suppression.

I don't mind Fiery Body as one of our 9th level spells, though. There are ways to manage the increased effect from Cold damage.

The other 9th level spell I was thinking about for Viserys is Effulgent Epuration. There are all too many spells which have majorly deleterious effects even if you make the saving throw or simply don't allow a saving throw at all, some of them we make frequent use of. Avasculate, Stun Ray, Amber Sarcophagus, Maze, Irresistible Dance, Shivering Touch, etc. Spell Resistance applies against almost all of them, but it's way too easy to boost one's ability to overcome SR with a spell or two, feats, or magic items. Way too many spells to protect against all of them with spells like Greater Spell Immunity or Spellbane, that's for sure.

Effulgent Epuration is the perfect answer to those spells. The protection can also be passed on to others, which is really nice when you have a bit of time to buff up prior to a fight.

Just saw this. I love that spell you suggested, and valid point about Spellbane.

So Effulgent Epuration and Fiery Body? Nice, nice, nice.

So we'll have Dominate Monster, Effulgent Epuration, Fiery Body, Miracle, and Time Stop for our 9th Level spells.

Pretty cool.

Speaking off next level we are getting Viserys the Linquistics skill to let him decipher forgeries and the altered writing in Soul Books right? Is that a Knowledge skill?

Also, back to Fiery Burst train of thought, when we get Fiery Body, the average damage of that blast is enough to melt an inch of steel armor even subtracting hardness.

So the most casual display of fire magic that Viserys can use would be to turn an armored Knight into a puddle of molten metal and ash.

As in, it doesn't take Viserys any effort, strain or resources to do that. He can do it with a wave of his hand.

Goddamn arch-mages.

So what else do we have planned for the trip anyway? Once we finish the hiring mercs and buying stuff action. Check out the Moon Goddess temple, maybe talk with the Godess, check out the light thing? Finally sell out stuff? Will we spend the local currency we get?

And to the people more knowledgeable about the Inquisition how many are there? I'm asking because I want to estimate how many detection Monocles of every type we would need if I actually want to convince you guys of equipping all of them.

We were considering the ramifications of Dragon Murder if I recall. I wouldn't mind spending an extra day to consider it further. Other than that everything you said above is probably what we will do.

It's not a Knowledge skill it's a separate skill, I'd also like to find a way to get this before level up.

That's far too long a wait for the sensitivity of the information we aren't getting as a result.

Still would prefer a Kraken. Wanna Bookify one and check out what their backstory is. Specifically if they are just Monsters, regular Abberations or if we have to worry about that Kraken God thing that is mentioned in some dnd lore.

Like in this Everything you didnt know about Krakens.

Edit: Fixed the link. It's the first one by a Mr.Rexx

We can get both. It isn't like we can't go on a grand hunt for a Kraken. We would just need some information from the locals.
