Making something that magical would be a challenge, but the size is definitely doable.
Nah, just want to make normal Treants for sea fights. Just using the Kami as an example to go off of and not have it be some creature from the blue lagoon knockoff.

But good to know Gigantean is an option for Coral Treants. @Crake would that count as a Kraken Killer?

You know a good dozen Gargantuan or Colossal Amphibious Treants. Armed with redwoods tipped with boulder sized hardened obsidian spear heads. Could they calamari a Kraken or two?

Guys, remember besides being big and having lots of attacks, a Kraken is fast as fuck, boi.

It has an ability to move like nearly 300 feet in one round.

Jet (Ex): A kraken can jet backward once per round as a double move action, at a speed of 280 feet.

It can only go in a straight line, but that just means anything it isn't confident in fighting it can escape.

So whatever you send against it needs to be able to catch up, which the mantas can sort of do with its Treestride abilities.

Though being honest, with how fast that is, I don't think much can catch up with a kraken that wants to escape unless its a PC with good range via magic.

Another reason our Gigantean Plant-Imbued Manta Rays are perfect for anti-Kraken operations. They're ridiculously fast, especially for their size.

It can also leave behind a poisonous Ink-Cloud while escaping.
Pretty mean bastard.

Well since my plan was voted on, I guess I ought to actually make it a vote that counts in the vote counting system(especially since the vote is already closed so it can't hurt).

Alright normal sized Caster Coral Treants then. Still great beat sticks. And can we slap a Treestride on a Treant? And would the Queen Rhaela count as a target of the ability?

Coral isn't really eligible to be a Treant, I don't think. Coral is just the accumulated skeletal remains of countless simple life forms getting stacked up over the years. The only living part is the miniscule layer living in too of their dead ancestors.

Coral Weirwoods? I'd love to eventually unlock that.

Potential Upgrades for Weirwood Heart Trees:

Immunity to Fire --> Also makes water unnecessary --> Unlocked!
Immunity to Cold
Immunity to Electricity
Immunity to Acid
Immunity to Sonic
Immunity to Negative Energy
Ability to grow underwater --> Will probably unlock the coral form and make sunlight unnecessary, along with making air unnecessary

Eh, most outermost bark is dead too. Plus, mystically speaking Coral kinda is alive. There is a difference between Living Coral and the bleached dead stuff. Plus there are Coral Plant creatures like my example.

Immunities dont come with the template and pretty sure coral needs sunlight and water to survive. It's why they grow in reefs and not the ocean floor. Except the stuff that grows by ocean vents anyway. The coral was just a thematic choice for the Aquatic template.

@Goldfish, while I'm fiddling around and adding this into 11th Month's MAs
[X] Assign the 4 Spontaneous Search stations created in 10th month to:
-[X] 1 to Sorcerer's Deep Scholarum
-[X] 3 to Sorcerer's Deep Extraplanar trade route (one on our side, one in Opaline Vault and Armun Kelish each respectively).
how many more can we have done in 11th month without impacting other avneues of production?

Securing SD alone to a reasonable degree of paranoia will need ~10 (1 to Inquisition HQ, 1 to Administration, 3(?) to Universities, 2-3 in the port, 2 for SD's Hall of Knowledge (Library, public and restricted sections), and one in our keep).

Other cities have way less points of interst to protect, but every Scholarum and Inquisition HQ needs one for sure, as well as Admin. centres.

They can be done in just a few days after the start of the month.

Fire immunity makes water unnecessary because that research was to make weirwoods able to grow in the Plane of Fire -- and good luck getting any water there. Figuring out how to make Coral Weirwoods isn't going to cancel out the fact that they already don't need water.

Point on corals needing sunlight, though. That'll need to be separate research.

It probably don't make water unnecessary in every environment, it's based on Plane of fire plants, so what it do, is probably allow a Weirwood to substitute its need for water, for a need for fire and oil(since the plane of fire have oil pretty much everywhere, so I'm going to guess the plants there use oil in place of water) so the fire immunity probably don't mean, that we suddenly don't need to supply Weirwoods in the Plane of Earth with water, as there they don't have access, to whatever the fire immunity research let them substitute for water.

Most of our research wont so much be eliminating a Weirwoods needs, as making it so they can substitute alternative materials, with enough plants with alternative requirements researched, they can become able to grow nearly everywhere, but they will always need something, there can just be so many options for what that something is, that the only place a Weirwood don't have access to at least 1 option to fulfil its needs, is floating in a vacuum, with no light or other energy, nor any mass.

We have had DP confirm that Fire Immunity makes water unnecessary for every Weirwood. This isn't a conditional thing.

@Crake I think Lya should have a more central role, she is right in that she will one day be Queen, but for most she will practically come out of nowhere, she spends too much time in her lab.
