The issue there is that we don't even have a face, much less a name. Hell I am inclined to use Yssian divination next month topic this fucker down. Yes I know it isn't a guarantee...Although do we know of any artifacts fo the Stranger? If we had a holy reliquary we could find him using that.
It's definitely worth an investigation, but we can easily spare ourselves the trouble since Bloodraven has already made keeping tabs on the Chosen a priority. If a Chosen of the Stranger popped up he'd know about it.

@TotallyNotEvil I cannot believe people are just giving away our eggs like that, if the poor Magpie knew, I don't think his little heart could take it.
... I'm fifty pages behind, and you tell me that.

Incidentally, that's why I'm not here. Trying to fruitlessly catch up over there.

DM-ed through the night for my friends, tho. Buckets of fun, even if we were all a tad too groggy. Entangle + Stinking Cloud is terribly unfair.

What quest is this? If it is ASOIAF based then they are damm fools.

Edit: Oh the Warhammer Advisor quest. Yeah in that situation I can see why giving them away might e a good idea
Yeah, not unique, game changing or anything, but still valuable and ours, and we are getting a very shitty deal.
I guess people see it as a way of getting rid of the backlog without doing anything, like selling an old PlayStation with 50 games for 1 dollar.

You should! It is definitely worth it.

I enjoyed it, but it has all the aspects of this quest that I love, and almost the perfect blend of all the aspects I either tolerate because of their necessity to the story or accept it smaller dosages before my interest begins to fade.

Which is goddamn saying something considering it's a Warhammer quest. It should arguably be worse.

Warhammer is one of those settings that I can never seem to enjoy. It has good lore, a somewhat decent story and isn't your usual bullshit of "Goody Guys always win" nonsense...but it kinda goes into the other end of "Everything is Dark and Grim and I am so edgy". I dont know. I like the lore but it gets a bit too "dark" for a lack of a better word.

It did create the term "Grimdark", but the quest mostly avoids that, which is great.

I don't really know much about the setting other than the first 20 episodes or so of the emperor's text to speech, and whatever I have absorbed from pop culture and the things Blizzard stole from them, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

A few more votes wouldn't hurt, y'all.

-[X] What are his opinions regarding Viserys Targaryean and his actions? Positive or Negative? (Mostly to gauge his opinion and for future plans)
-[X] What are his opinions regarding Lucan Longfield? Danielle? The other Chosen? (Opinions on them could help us put together a profile)
-[X] What are the chances he will remain neutral in conflicts? (This will determine whether he is recruitable or not.)
-[X] Who has he made weapons for? Are they intended to be used on Viserys or the Empire?
-[X] Is he hostile to the Lannisters? To the Devils?

Warhammer is a setting where nobody wins, forever. Bad, good, pretty or ugly.

Both of these were more a trait of 40k than Fantasy, up until the steaming pile of shit that was the End Times. Divided Loyalties manages to avoid the grimderp; things are dire, but that doesn't make victory impossible, just difficult.

*cough* Except for Skaven. *cough*
They somehow grab some win-success every time, yes-yes.
By definition, anything that happens to a Skaven is the next step in their plan to overthrow the Council of Thirteen and rule skavenkind forever, yes. :V

Yah let's see if we can loot another one of the Seven's chosen. That and get a bead in the Strangers chosen, and the Crones chosen as well. We need to bottle them ASAP, no death means no new chosen of their variety, along with them being off the intrigue bord.

Alrighty. Lovely. Now all she needs to do is not turn against us and she might not be trapped in a bottle for the rest of the war.
She is currently adventuring with one of our Phoenixes and the Scout Archon we met on the road to Mantarys.
I'd say she's doing well enough.

@Crake
I don't really believe your paranoia, sometimes a smith is just a smith, but acting as if it where true will likely produce the most entertaining results.

Bottling the other Chosen without them doing something specific to provoke us would probably be a breach of our ceasefire with Lucan. If they're worth bottling they'll give us a reason soon enough, but let's not be the ones to set that off.

WTB Chosen MILF.

Now you're thinking with Chaos!

TBF, you and many others may doubt me, but I have been 100%, on the ball, actual factual, correct ahead of the reveal before.

Granted, while it's probably the case that the Smith ain't that special, that don't mean there isn't a trap. It just plain doesn't make sense otherwise... it's not like we'd be the only factor interested in the Smith's activities and whereabouts. And who says a trap has to catch a bear? Why not a tiger or even a mouse?

Chosen of Smith: "Oh wow, my plan worked! Some Fiend must have tried to reach me through divination, and now they have fallen into my trap! I should check it now."

Viserys, very crumpled in his full-Dragon form, in a tiny room: "Hi."

Chosen of Smith:

Chosen of Smith:

No, let's be honest, we'd be sitting in his tent, drinking his alcohol...

Viserys: "This is really bad. Aren't you the Chosen of the Smith? Can't you just... distill better booze?"

Alyn: "W-wuh--I mean, if you haven't noticed, we're a bit out of the way up here. You won't find your fancy Arbor Gold or Dornish... red..."

Viserys, pouring a finer vintage of wine than the younger man has likely ever so much as sniffed before now, then dropping the bottle back into his hungry cloak: "I brought my own. Please. Enjoy. My cellars are endless."

...

"Heh... endless. I slay myself."

Alyn: "...somebody's got to."
