I was thinking about just really simple stuff, like Mirror Image and Heart of Earth for our people to use prior to the raid.

Perhaps the mold would be killed, good point.

I think the disks could be used for that but also for holdout options.

Escapes on those who don't have them naturally such as Dimension Door.

Wall of Force to give battlefield control options.

Emergency Force Sphere to protect yourself, or trap an enemy in with you.

Ranged options for those who don't have them naturally such as Hostile Juxtaposition on one of our non-casters or Telekinetic Charge to basically have pounce.

Roaming Pit to put someone in a hole because Ref saves always suck.

Drop Black Tentacles on yourself or even SMV.

No save is always preferred but the disk does use the creators CL etc.

A little unrelatedly Seamantle seems an interesting option if we could get it on the right person.

We could make AoE grenades to increase the alpha strike without using to many spell slots.

Cacophonic burst
Cyclonic blast
Shard storm
Necrotic skull bomb
Shrieking blast

Open up by dropping these near large groups or doors; toss people off or require force and/or sonic damage to come onto the deck.

We're not really short on blasting options, though. The force we've gathered has plenty of ranges AoE capabilities.

It's probably most effective to stick to disruptive spells to support all the damage dealing stuff you have set up.

A Flashburst from Viserys per ship would be nice since they have such a long range for the blinding effect.

Maybe a few Doomtides, thunderous roars, and confusions from Vee, Lya, and Xor respectively if they can spare them. We could pass those three spells off to the elementals to trigger when enough guards group up on them.

Yeah, I was thinking about making some Flashburst disks. One for each ship would pretty much encompass the entire ship, potentially blinding any crew members who are still alive.

I like it, and thanks @BronzeTongue I kept thinking of Sunburst instead of Flash Burst, there's a plant template that has it as an SLA I want on an Elite Drakenbeast squad.

Are you referring to the sunflower leshies? Too bad that they're so squishy and flammable, little plant bros repeatedly blinding a devil two or three times their size would be fantastic.

Duelward would be ideal, but it's got a very short duration which makes timing it difficult. Battlemagic Perception has a much longer duration and allows the user to Counterspell once as a Free Action. Viserys, Lya, Dany, and Malarys will all be using it for the raid. They all have Rings of Spell-Battle, too, so each of them will be able to Counterspell once as a Free Action and another time as an Immediate Action.

@Deliste is talking about the Plant-Imbued template, I think, which gives the Sunburst spell as a 1/Day spell-like ability.

For emergency use, sure - but worth it as a meatshield if nothing else.

Losing it is less problematic than either of them being munched by a surprise!TrueDeath.

If we win this fast, I know it's a big IF, would a Miracle be enough to shatter those slave-collars en masse?
Either the regular or the XP-cost version?

That would reduce the losses to loot and lifes immensly, especially for the Shaitan who mostly send regular warriors.

UNrelated to that, I'm looking forward to see the Archmage drop a Frostfell on a ship or two. We can finally see how our Shadow of the Doom looks for other people by viewing the cold equivalent.
