Cue us using Teleport/Divination combo to not have to deal with 90% of the things described :Vye, it's pretty hype-y.

@DragonParadox

Make him stop!

I'm hoping that DP having already expressed a yearning for less jumpy travel and the remoteness of Sothyros (again, even the Height of Valyria could not penetrate the depths of it's jungle, even the rogue rider with her over intelligent dragon could not push past the great wastes that lay even beyond that) will allow us a true sense of Adventure.

Sothoryos is big enough and unexplored enough that even using all our magic to its fullest extent we have to travel the long way for most of it. I think the sense of adventure will be fine.

I would love to spend a month of IRL to really focus on a week of adventuring in Sothoryos.
Hey, we still have the rest of Valuria to loot.

The Library (ashes as it likely is, since they can be restored at least), Arsenal rumored to have enough to challenge Hells themselves (holy crap), bones of Dragon-Gods.

And from the looks of things, we may have time for one expedition just before taking Westeros.
If we manage to deal with Deep Ones, and I'm... Doubtful we will, to be honest.

Have faith in the survival of loot. There will absolutely be enough for us to take home and consider it time well spent.

I'll do my best to get this across. BTW currently trying to make sense of the new layout and so far I'm not loving it, though that may just be my dislike of new things in general. Is there anyway to get loser to the old style?

New interface is throwing me off.

And I can't use the "Black Gold" style anymore! :o

Also, new emojis are... Just not the same.
Where's my good old :O-face in blue? :(

I am violently opposed to these forum changes, but that's probably just the normal human hind-brain response that conditions you to hate change more and more the older you get.

Edit:THEY GOT THE EMOJIS TOO?!

NOOOOO!

Just when you think the depths of villainy could not be sunk to...

Eww, I want my old interface back!

And my old emojis!!! >_<

EDIT: Not a fan of change in general, either.

I also don't like this. :(

Is it only me, or everything is also slooooooow as feck now?

I mean please tell me they have some kinks to work out still. Look at these BORDERS on the interface!

They are ugly as heck!

Ugh. Having the bar with the alerts and forum sections follow you around when you scroll down is a FUCKING SHITSHOW. That's terrible user interface right there. Intrusive, useless, and ugly.
Ugh.

EDIT : And it's slow. And who thought that swapping around the preview and post buttons would be convenient ?

That's one of my main complaints as well, that bar is really throwing my reading off, I hope we get the option to turn it off, once the upgrade is fully done.

Here, a mod is saying that the speed issue is due to back-end migration tasks that are still running.

Now if they could just bring the old interface back...

Sweet baby Jesus, the tally is fucking slow to run now. Hope that's temporary, too.
