Nope. Those are something for the shopping list next time we're on a buying spree. Of our crafters only Lya has the necessary ability to craft them, and doing so would eat up a huge portion of her time.

We do need to start producing some of the various Metamagic rods sometime soon, though.
We rarely have a free hand though.

We need one free hand for casting and often have our staff or sword in the other hand.

No space for rods.

So is there anything anybody wants to do now that we have a (even more) massive pile of dosh?

I was hoping we could buy those preceptor Archons...

The Jon secret blowing up is civil war. Full blown three kingdoms civil war. Like that situation would turn into the most chaotic form of the hackity sax song.

I can't help but think if it really looked like things would be that bad we would step in.

We're trying to be careful and polite, but if things start going pear shaped were going to redefine the meaning of the phrase Draconian Rule.

He could have tried for neutrality, supporting no one and hoping he would not suffer either way, or if the Lannisters could have convinced him he was target he might even have jumped into bed with them reflexively.

Those sound like famously bad ideas. On both of their parts. But the only exhibit of it is in exposure of why specifically, so I can see it.

Was specifically thinking about 'Awaken' adamantine golem - I think we will be able to diplomance him, and 3d6 for INT sound fine maximized (and empowered if possible).

We would step in and that would make the situation so much more chaotic. At this rate I am half inclined to kidnap Jon under the pretense of trying to gain leverage on House Stark. Of course we will run that by Ned as a "no we just want our nephew to be safe" but the rest of the world will see it as attempted leverage.

As per @Nickan's request, already added that to MAs.
[] The Adamantine Golem you acquired is yet raging, its control rod nowhere in sight. Research to craft one anew might be difficult, if not impossible.
-[] Use Wild Arcana to Awaken Adamantine Golem, offer it a place into your service. This is mostly a diplomacy action; The spellcasting itself shall take 6 seconds (mythic power).

Exceptions can be made, and it wouldn't always be Viserys using the rod.

Viserys can learn Sudden Maximize via Ancestral Awakening and apply it to the Awaken Construct spell he duplicates using Wild Arcana. Maybe. If @DragonParadox is feeling generous. Empowering and Maximizing would be pushing the cheese too far.

Adamantine golem wizard go.

Oh who am I kidding.

Sword sage all the way.

Edit:
@Crake do you think Ting would be up for training it?

? That would be bog-standard sorcerer casting. Use one or more metamagics you know and add one from a rod. It gets cheesier if you add special components the emulate metamagics and/or items that confer the effect so you start stacking metamagics without level increase.

... The ECL of an awakened adamantine golem is in the vicinity of 'forget about it'.

I meant Maximizing and Empowering the Awakening of the Adamantine Golem. That's just too blatantly cheesy for me.

@Artemis1992
Oh, boy, metamagic. Let me show you my favourite of the lot;

A tattoo that effectively allows even non-intrigue spec characters to sneakily toss spells while in social situations, or while hiding. Simply place such inside boots, on the back and similarly obscured locations. Tattoos are considered 'slotless' items in the sense one can have both a tattoo and another magic item.

The logistics of magical items as tattoos are easily made simple by transferring them between characters.

There are several more tattoos, all interesting. Limited flight, blindsense, hidden weapons inside skin.. But that's a pitch for another time.

Speaking of tattoos, @Goldfish, where are we with tattoo guardians? I remember something about starting next month?

Yep. I've been waiting for the opportunity to use magic tattoos. Now that we've got the Kyton Fleshwarper, they will soon become available to us.

Siduri got her standard Tattoo Guardian this month. Lya is getting her Advanced variant next month. I don't have a link for it if you wish to appreciate it's glory, but a search of the thread will bring it up.

Today I am stuck doing chores, I'll be sure to find it later.

It could just decide it wants to be an Expert. Perhaps a potter or an historian?

It would be the deadliest Expert to ever exist!
He/she/it gets skill points according to <> new intelligence (and hit dice) ...
Quote:
Roll 3d6 to determine the Intelligence score of the awakened construct, and increase its Charisma score by 2d6. It gains feats and skill points according to its new Intelligence score, and the skill points are assigned appropriately for its function, as determined by the GM.

I joke, but the golem deciding he wants to be an agrarian in say... Hellven?

That could be excellent.

Especially since we would likely build our base their around the heart tree. Which could really use an epic tier gaurdian.
