Pretty much this :/
We had worked on it for but, what, 17-18 days IC?
Nor had we dropped any significant amount of Research-Progress into it to seriously go overboard the usual limitations of crafting system?

I feel like asking for more than what Goldfish/Artemis have is kinda way too greedy even for the thread's crafting stadrards?

...I'm agaisnt that.
I like Oathkeeper's abilities as his natural developments from eating an avatar of Fuckmothering Archduke of Hell.

It's getting in the way of a artifact build with a coherent set of abilities.

It's getting in the way of a artifact build with a coherent set of abilities.

...I'm surprisingly okay with that.
For once, I'd rather keep a thing fluff-wise over mechanical efficiency :/

*looks at Dark Sister's upgrade expectantly for the latter*

For real though, I really liked where it was going through eating stronger and stronger Devils, and my whole "artwork" was kinda hinging on it keeping to largely same themes...

When the second arrow arched out of the trees on a much truer path it shattered against vast ethereal wings. Thankfully it was also enough to send both sides scrambling into the woods, where after a brief scuffle they emerged with a bleeding dark-haired man whose filthy tunic contrasted tellingly with his finely-crafted bow.

"It seems we share at least one foe," Amrelath noted as he walked beside the girl. "Sadly we cannot wait to see who it might be, but should you wish to explore the matter further you where to send word I imagine."
Well, isn't that convenient. My guess is that the Lannisters are sticking their fingers into the Riverlands and just had a metaphorical Crit-failure.

+10 in addition to everything it has going for it as an intelligent item with its own powers feels rather unbalanced
Why?

A +10 sword is something any high level crafter can make.
@TotallyNotEvil, feel free to make another proposal, but there will be a bill attached to a +10 equivalent to match.
I literally said just that: bill us extra time and money for it.

But the baseline +10 sword isn't extraordinary beyond being just a really good sword.

That would not be the best PR. If you tell a red dragon he is allowed to loot a place you can expect most if not all the inhabitants to be incinerated and/or eaten.
:( I'm sure we'll find some other acceptable targets, then.

In the meantime before he goes to Pentos with us where does he want to raid? Are there other barrows he's aware of?

Well that was interesting. Two main questions I can think of.

1. How did the wannabe assassin know about the exchange? Was the leak on the Mallister side, the Lads, some lucky observation of Amerlath, good Divinition, etc?
2. Exaclty what was the end goal? I mean obviously they wanted to cause strife between the Targs and an Riverlander house, but is it supernatural threats just looking to cause chaos/smear Viserys, Tywin looking to schlorp other nobles into his sphere of influence, etc etc?

Right now, Oathkeeper is a +4 weapon (+3 Enhancement, w/+1 Flaming).

If we are going to raise to to +10, we could do...

+5 Enhancement, +1 Flaming(x2), +1 Spell Storing, +1 Magebane, +1 Extending?

Or maybe just pile on Bane effects? Evil Outsider Bane and Undead Bane rather than Extending and the extra Flaming? I would like to keep Spell Storing, but if not, replacing it with Fey Bane wouldn't be remiss. Oathkeeper would be super deadly to a huge range of foes.

@DragonParadox, @Azel, again, was that previous statement of yours referring to Oathkeeper's Magebane applying to Divine casters automatically, or is that something we need to specify in the upgrade as a part of it (and pay for as such)?
There's zero consensus just because of that right now.

Oops, sorry about that, I would say include it in the vote, it's more transparent that way.
@Goldfish, please include that little tidbit and I'll consolidate in a moment.
-[] Special Ability: Enhances the wielder's Magebane ability (if any), making any creatures using Divine spells or spell-like abilities suitable targets.

:/

The odd jest seemed to go a long way to keeping them from growing nervous in his company, and fortunately they were quite easily entertained.
Reminds me of Illithid-kun throwing coins at Bronn, "he seemed to like the yellow ones best".
not mokery's sting."
Mockery.
What the point of trying to court the woman was now when she had not only shown no inclination to reciprocate but would not have the time to do anything about it even she did have a sudden change to heart the dragon could not say, and that was one oddity he could probably do without understanding.

Freaking Amy and his Charisma. Some people got to work for it!

you know where to send word, I imagine.
