Alright by basing our plan purely around rumors and 3rd hand knowledge this idea of killing Lucan is doomed to failure. As in sure we can kill him put all we're going to do is make him a gigantic martyr and then we get our religious war anyways.

We're going to need a completely different plan, we're probably not going to be able fracture the 7, But at the very least we can counter the idea of a religious army. We're going to have to pull back on going after his mages.

As for the people saying that this guy's a challenge he really isn't we just had a plan for a completely different person and we got lazy as fuck. Then despite Finding out that this guy was completely different from what we assumed and what rumor suggested We threw good money out after bed trying to continue with a plan that did not work on this kind of person.

After we've pulled back on trying an assault that will blow up in our face no matter if we succeed perfectly without injury or death on either side or if we fail utterly. The new plan should be focused on keeping anything remotely resembling the faith militant from happening, and then we should bring up the obvious point that nobody at this conclave as actually ever met the dragon and like the rumors that make out Lucan to be a complete but magical monster we have no idea what the dragon is actually like. Beyond the fact that he allows worship of the 7 on his island and is building apparently a very large Church for those who wish to worship the 7.

Y'all need to chill. If our enemies are smarter by virtue of the GM no longer drowning in paperwork, then so are our allies. And stop underselling the entirety of the thread god fucking dammit.

My only worry is the balance for the future custom stuff the enemy carries, but we can always call bullshit, or just lay more contingencies.
Ah, the fond memories of playing Xanatos speed chess with Aizen and giving him supercancer will forever be a high point of my questing career
??

What makes you think we can't fracture them? We're more than capable of that, it just won't be the "every septon for themselves" people seemed to be imagining.

Well, yes, but keep in mind that he was explicitly created by the Father to defeat us. Granted, that doesn't necessarily mean they did a good job, but it does warrant at least some caution on our part.

Also that we are an enormous proponent of the Old Gods and have done very little to combat the rumours that we use blood magic at least tangentially to spread their trees, including the bugfuck massive one people can probably see on either side of the Narrow Sea.

Bah, if Cersei was ever right is that the peasants only care about being fed and that the lords only cared about who put them ahead.

Onlt the particularly pious and the honorable cared and they died for it. Which was like... Around 50 people?

4chan German Hollow quest.

Long story short the MC had healing mucus as his power, Segunda Etapa takes that up to 11.

Weaponized healing equals cancer, cancer so strong that no matter what happened, whatever was done to him, Aizen couldn't die.

We had fun. And then our old buddy Marr (who was an actual Dinosaur that somehow got turned into a hollow after he died to the goddam meteor strike that took them out, became an arrancar, and then was killed by Aizen's bullshit power, reincarnated in soul society, got locked up for eating people because even as a monkey he was still a dinosaur, broke out, and then got hollow powers by us again because why the fuck not) got his turn.

By the time we were done Aizen was a vaguely shaped blob of meat crying for death.

Good times.

Seriously though, at the point where you have 20+ people storming a building, you should be aware that people will notice. Especially in a city as twitchy about these things as Oldtown.

Invisibility and glamour spells do exist. There's a lot we can do to make it much, much harder for us to be noticed by the outside world, just like we did taking out the Tiamat cult.

Elder Xorn can attack from underground and is good all-around, with excellent skills, Bone Devil is generally a top-pick summon, as you said the Pixies are available (at SNA VI even) with their natural invisibility, Invisible Stalker has a pretty self-descriptive name (have a neat ability: A see invisibility spell shows only a dim outline of a cloud, while a true seeing spell reveals a roiling cloud of vapor), Djinn have at-will invisibility, Movanic Deva and Janni have Etheral Jaunt, Piscoloth is a top-tier combatant through summons and has a plainly good Hide/MS score, etc.[

You can even hide the entire troupe inside a Major Ilusion (which you can also get from summons).

I was aware of that, but I did misremember their alignment as CG instead of NG. The idea of a spec-ops team made of tiny, chaotic Fey was just deeply hilarious to me.

Hey, they'll complete the mission.

They may burn the place down, be covered in paint, have grabbed twelve different things that don't even vaguely describe the target and somehow be speaking Spanish on a plane that doesn't even have the concept of the Spanish language, but the mission will be completed.

My point is not that hey can be seen or recognized, but that there is a level of activity that will draw attention.

For example, a group of Bone Devils breaking through the windows of a building makes more then enough of a ruckus to alert the neighborhood, no seeing them necessary. People will do wonder where the large claw marks came from afterwards though.

Or would you assume TD Viserys under Greater Invisibility flattening a building is stealthy?
