You know, I just had a random thought.

What would our PC's stats look like in CK2 style?

I must have missed something in my skim through of the announcement. It doesn't really seem like much of an issue to me.
The issue is the vagueness of the rules, how heavy handed they were enforced this time and the amount of subjectivity involved.

I'm pretty sure that my thread could get me infracted for a few months if the wrong person reads it in a crabby mood.

Yeah.... Well if it gets really bad we could always just move it over to SB

Sounds like the european internet censor.

Also, holy fucking shit what a movie was that.
I'm so glad Tony got his rematch against Thanos. He was this close to soloing 4-infinity stone Thanos back on Titan, when he was the last one standing, but just barely didn't make it.

Now? Well, no one will be forgetting his name. Ever. What an epic fucking ending for the one that started it all (in terms of movies). "I am Iron Man" is how the first MCU movie ends. And essentially how the last one ends, too.

He was just a man, and he fell a titan with his own two hands.

Captain Mary Sue was disappointing, she could have solo-ed the entire thing with her bullshit powers, and yet was more background NPC than a protagonist.

It's sad to see them getting rid of all the original Avengers, especially Tony/Steve/Thor. I don't really feel like the new ones have the charisma to mesmerize like these did. Especially not someone that's born for the role, like RDJ.

And don't think I didn't see how Loki escaped in the OTL using a fucking infinity stone, either.

It also reads as if the QM has to constantly watchdog their thread for any kind of misconduct.
Yeah, and it is very very subjective which means, again, if someone comes by in a crabby mood I am pretty sure almost anything vaguely "Toxic" could become an infraction. Seriously, it is super vague

Like we have a bar for sacrificing monsters to a tree...would that be considered toxic? Or hateful? Or racist? I am so lost about this.

Stats:
Martial: Yes
Diplomacy: Yes
Stewardship: Yes
Intrigue: Yes
Piety: I'll get back to you on that.
Um, first I meant for each PC, not any PC in specific.

Also numbers tend to be more descriptive.

Also forgot the assorted traits which boost said numbers

Context matters. Anyone even halfway familiar with D&D would understand why IC people want to kill the literal brain-eating monsters.

Considering how vague it is we once again come back to how subjective this all is. If they were to see human sacrifice as toxic they will take this quest down. Seriously man, they are way to vague about this

Just carry on and hope that doesn't happen?

I think for now the civs in your quest are sufficiently far removed from real-life versions that the things the staff is warning about are unlikely. No leakage between investment and personal predjuces.
And since you mentioned early in the thread that cultures are unlikely to fall into our particular patterns as they happend IRL anyway that propably won't happen.

So that takes the biggest potential offender already out.

Oddly, most of the things and cultures here can easily be compared with RL cultures. So the threat still remains

I am the most curious about how Lanna and the Lannister mages are reacting to the major sacrifice we performed and maybe how their Golden Shields compared to our Scholarium mages.

It's safe to say that everyone and their mother is freaking out about it.

I'm more curious about what Bloodraven's going to do with the utterly insane new power boost he just got.

Yeah, we only got to see how our allies were reacting when we were all hoping to see how our enemies were reacting.

I am fine with moving on.

Who is the thread most curious about right now? For me, I am curious as to how Jon has been progressing.
And I'm fairly interested in getting more planar rumors, albeit that has to wait for the end of the month to be most interesting it seems.
Reaction to our tourney and the Tree by our fellow empires.
Djinn/Shaitan taking out the Doomship.
All the other fascinating Ifreeti war stuff.

Like that island-dropping action of Djinni mages :V

How much of a power boost did he get?
Probably quite a lot.
We didn't just did the biggest sacrifice in ages, and one of (if not the) biggest OGs ever saw, but also restored one of the most ancient Heart Trees in existence.
