Not that powerful, a city sure. This is a spell version, not the original ritual that shattered a landmass.

Valyria, City of Brass, Hell. Anything else where fire damage gets a penalty and water damage gets an extra.
Except that Viserys build negates the damage penalty. In fact, he is doing more damage when casting fire spells in those locations.

A Water spell would be penalized in the Plane of Fire, but Doom gets stronger.
 
Why are people voting for the plan that doesn't give us as many things? :confused:
I plainly don't want the staff upgrade. It's getting tiresome to see all this ultra-swanky stuff piled on Viserys that is then never used.

Anyway, I know a loosing battle when I see one, so I'm going to give poor Dark Sister some polishing while you guys haggle over the staff.
 
Oh please. Forty fucking Tier 3 Heart Trees fed into four boons that are thematic as fuck.
To me mind, about half of that is making tree-effects island-wide and adding a fourth effect on top of that.

But _whatever_.

I just want my Nordrassil 2.0 now, I don't care for these boons at all tbh.

@Goldfish respectfully I think that a constant divine favour (+3 luck to attack and weapon damage rolls) on the staff isn't actually useful, as we rarely (never?) use it in melee. The EE feels equally useless, but at least a lot more thematic :)

@All, a bit late for it, but maybe we will be better off having some Erinrys. Enrinys. FURIES, stand gaurd, keeping a true seeing eye out for attacks. And imbue Varys with a GT to get the non/low-end combatants out of Dodge if things go sideways/we get some volunteers showing up unexpectedly.

And "Others attack when we attempt to kill the weight to usurp our BigTreeRitual(TM)" is actually something I want to see happen. Provided they don't get to hurt anyone before we stop them. :)

I get the feeling I too sometimes look at Viserys sheet and wonder how I am going g to showcase everything on it. Here's a suggestion (and it is just a suggestion you guys can get your upgrade if you want). How about making this a staff for Vee? She has a connection to the Old Gods and she has no real weapon.

As in create a second Runestaff for her with the listed effects, instead of upgrading the current one? I wouldn't be against that.
 
On the matter of Vee, she did fungal pods this month and will turn Mammons corpse into a bioreactor next month. She has plenty connection with the Old Gods lately and is doing sone really ground-breaking work.
 
Getting Vee some wide area blasting by giving her the Hammer has at least a decent chance of the spell being actually used.

-[X] Boon 1: Get a bonus on all future research in the Fungus Forge by having the Old Gods aid the people working there.
