Once their new port is well established and becomes known among the sea captains and traders of Planetos, it would make a good waypoint between Yi-Ti and SD.

@Azel, can we add that we'll grow a Heart Tree in his new port city. That's a major piece of infrastructure, and he'd probably appreciate that there wouldn't be any mechanical ruins for the roots to damage, along with the fact that the Old Gods don't care about worship.
What effects? A general healing tree?

Might be nice to find some middleground between healing and combat buffs.

It's very far out of the way and thus makes a bad waypoint. For that purpose, we would have to settle an island in the Cinnamon Straits.

It wouldn't need to be an actual midpoint, but rather a lucrative port along the way where goods can be sold and exotic stock can be purchased.

As for Heart Trees, a healing variant would be nice, but that can be gained from other sources quite easily. A Defense Tree would be more practical.

I think something to heal diseases and poisons, then Magic Vestment. Those issues are harder to fix and Sothoryos is 40% trees, 20% murderous wildlife, 10% murderous plantlife, 20% dieseases and 10% toxins.

The Larder has enough for two trees. We can just grow a Healing Tree and a Defense Tree. The godswood can be useful jungle trees that Riz'Neth gathers.

Yeah. Today he's a scrawny mage-type, but who knows how age affects him? Perhaps in his prime he was a true MUSCLE WIZARD !!!

Do you count those we planned for this month?
Those are less plans and more just vague goals. I'm perfectly happy with putting a political move like this one ahead of the rest.

We don't have the sacrifices to grow all of those right now, but we should have plenty after raiding the Adamantine Mine.

Then let's conserve out stockpile for now and revisit this later. The harbor doesn't even have a fixed site yet.

Could we give him a Valyrian Steel Longsword, then? A gift of dragonsteel is a pretty powerful emblem, along with the fact that a rare magic weapon that isn't on the market at all (even the extraplanar ones) will tip the scales even further in our favor.
That is hard to gouge. Speak with dead answers are rather cryptic
We will have to investigate.

I wonder if he'd be willing to sell us some of the more interesting skulls.

He has a pterodactyl to fly on, though he rarely uses the current one, it's getting old.

Sapient Longevity via Reincarnation is an issue much debated in thread.

DP is the pterodactyl a person or an animal? (Just to make sure, but I doubt that it's a person, very much so)

Would we induce the snake person version of "warm fuzzies" if we reincarnated his mount?

@thread who's up for reincarnating his non-sapient mount? Viserys can do it (and has done it) himself as a reminder: Bloodwish reincarnate, celerity, bloodwish ''choose reincarnation species'

Or even just mentioning that we can do so to him and leaving the offer on the table.

edit:... is there a better mount we can reincarnate his friend into?
(addendum: yeah, I'm not pushing this hard, just throwing the idea out there to the thread. If the character really wanted this there is little stopping him from sorting it himself eventually)

(context: my cousin's dog died recently. we're not close (huge extended family), but no one like losing a beloved pet, so I'd prefer that this never before mentioned pet of an NPC that we rarely see get reincarnated over.... not getting reincarnated).

huh. I've talked myself out of caring that much either way. The NPC might like it, if that's of value to the thread goers, i suppose...
