Going up against a psionic stronghold in the Dream World runs the risk of attracting the Quori, who are the most prevalent masters of the Dreaming who would certainly be happy to mop up or grab any scraps.

Though that means there's a chance we might be able to bargain with them to work with us if we wanted to give it a shot.

We are pullin her in. There is no other way. If we try to rescue her they can just kill her at the last moment. Or ambush us and throw a lot of bullshit at us (I want loot, but I want it in a more controlled way than entering open war).

Still, we should know where she is. It could give us an idea about the Deep One organization.

-[X] If successful, immediately return her to a Smoky Confinement bottle until a ritual to destroy her original body can be devised.

I have an idea:

We do kill Jeyne's true body, then draw her soul to this body. Psionic manipulation doesn't deal in souls, we have the advantage when it comes to esoteric stuff.
 
Pull her in and then use her body as a ritual to sever the connection destroying it on the other side in the process. Should we send a heads up to the Merling King? What does he take as a sacrifice?

@Goldfish, I think that taking it up with Merling King is advised.

He very pointedly can deal with the "old body"-issue, and likely even help with mind-reeling thing, but we won't have much time after we do this.
Or any time at all, really.

Mind adding the following?
[] Bottle both Roger and Jeyne again, keep them under mindblank-effect for a moment, while everyone else prepares for "rescue operation"
[] Find the highest avaliable authority of Merling King, calling up on his daughter if at all possible.
-[] Relay the circumstances of the situation and request Merling King's help in returning Jeyne's consciousness to the body you have in your posession, and breaking all the metaphysical connections this body has to the previous one after the (assumed) success.
--[] Point out that Jeyne seems to be a decent candidate for a champion to field against Deep Ones, after all they did to her - if necessary.
--[] Price for help: up to the entirety of Day of Change stockpile (153 + ??? CL) as an immediate power-battery.

This is, essantialy, Rina 2.0 here.
Let's not fuck this one up, Illithids are kinda way harder to steal a mind from than Others were :V
so greedy with their snacks, the fuckers...

Or, we sidestep everything and think laterally:

We kill her actual body, then get her soul (which will travel to a non-illithid controlled plane of existence) and put it in her new body.

If you are thinking in minds you are playing their game. We won't play their game. So I say that we launch a wyldfire bomb to her actual body and then divine how to get her soul from the Astral plane or whatever plane she ends up in.

Dream to her real body, leave a nice package of wildfire in her head, pull her soul into the puppet and get ourselves our first psionic.
 
She will probably not react well to "Yeah we had to kill you explosively and then bring back your soul from the outer planes and put it in this fake body you were piloting so we could get that sweet mind-magic"
 
... @DragonParadox, would putting a weirwood sapling into her body here, make it easier for us to guide her actual mind into this one?
What with us having one hell of a focus in our Weirwood Staff :whistle:
I'm not sure if OG's will actually be very helpful here, but this might just act as a bit of a beacon for us?
