We all knew it was too good to be true...

@DragonParadox, leaving Jeyne's body with the Deep Ones is still problematic even if we successfully pull her consciousness into her puppet body. Couldn't they use it as the focus for rituals to harm her? This is why we're so careful to clean up corpses after resurrections.

They could yes. You might be able to do the reverse too, use Jeyne post-recovery as a focus to destroy the body.

We can quickly enough move her into a clockwork body, for example.
That alone should provide a decent bit of protection.

Another possibility, is rushing with her to Toad Isle and having Merling King deal with her connection to old body in a way similar to how OG's cut Rina's connection to Others.

Anti-Illithid Psychic Cleric, anyone? :V

Both these would likely work though the first would probably remove her psionics too

If we go out to rescue her and succeed, then we gain an incredibly loyal mage, and presumably a human body that retains psionic potential for flesh forge research.

@Duesal, what's our Larder-item capacity at the moment?
Can we afford sacrificing a lot of magic items to MK in order to pull Rina 2.0 with this?

We've not yet han update on Heart trees this month, so the entirety of DoC-stuff should be avaliable...

Paranoia justified! Where is my tinfoil hat emoji?
Have this "hug" rating instead, from one paranoid abomination to another.

The truce is already broken anyway.
Noooooot really?
We're not openly at war, yet.

What they did with Sir Richrad's mom didn't break the letter of the truce.
Neither did us sending a note to Gith :V

or more likely to make her a more tempting recruit for Viserys.
Ah, truly, the only thing that teempers our greed is our paranoia.
It is good our enemies know only of former, for the most part :V

The main issue is that Runecrafting came from the aberrations right? Meaning that they probably have wards specifically against divine pulling... We can actually check that. Because divination is possible, it means that they didn't protect against us scouting their defences. We can literally check if it is a trap too because of augury.

Actually, not a given.
...I think.

From what we've seen to this point, it is Fey who specialise in runes/wards/spells that shut off gods.

Runes of First Men (originating to Aberration runes in turn) are more of a... general-purpose ones?
Like, shielding from divination, Feywild, making alarms, enhacning legends, etc...
But not specifically focusing on protections from divine?

@DragonParadox, did I get that right from an IC-perspective on various runes and wards we've seen yet? Or am I just mixing stuff up at this point?

We are reeling her back in. That's he only option that doesn't start a war. We can't afford a war right now. Not until we weaponize Aedon's brain against them.

It's a good summation, you have not seen any particular anti-god inclination to First Men runes and you have seen such from the fe.

Either we find and burn the stronghold...which is something I want to do...or we extract her mind and soul from her old body and ask the Merling King to destroy it, hopefully in a magnificent explosion that hurts those squid fucks. Also is Psionics a biological thing or a soul thing @DragonParadox
