@DragonParadox, how much progress would it take for a research action to use the Fungal Pods to grow bone that ignores hardness and pierces DR as per adamantium? This way we can reliably grow weapons for Children of the Forest.

We already have such bone, don't we?
We fabricated Rhango a knife outta it.

Now, only to grow more of it, shouldn't be hard at all.

Since you have samples it would only be 8 progress however the substance would be as expensive as adamantine, so niche usage like druid and CotF weapons is all it would be good for.

@Azel Please refer to my vote and use the section asking about the tablet. We can narrow down what they've already tried.

That's all I was going for, so I'm perfectly content with paying full price here. With this we'll actually have a decent source of the bone rather than hoping to get lucky with monsters.

@DragonParadox, once we get this up and running, would there be a good market for it among the Extraplanar Markets? Sure we have to pay full price for it, but given that it's a premium material surely we could make some kind of profit there.

My read on this is that the disruption of Planetos alignment to the remainder of the planes was deliberate and we are holding an old document now that gives details on when they will be fully aligned again. Which means the beginning of the Long Night.

The Age of Heroes ended because the best and brightest of tje age came together to "break" the planes, thus weakening the Others. The goal was likely to attack the Others during the nadir of magic when they were the weakest to sunder the anchors giving them access to Planetos.

But sadly, nobody remembered any of this and now they are rapidly regaining their full might.

@Duesal, what's Shara Rogares level and equipment again?
The last we heard she was a Aristocrat 1/Rogue 4/Shadow Thief of Ann 3. We did not get her stats.

The following was her equipment:

Anklet of Translocation (2/Day Teleport 10 feet as a Swift Action)
Bane Humanoid (Human) Dagger (+1)
Dagger that allows wielder to cast True Strike 3/day as stand. action or 1/day as swift action
Healing Belt
Phantasmal Leather Armor (+1) (Made from Displacer Beast Leather)
Ring of Protection from Good
Ring that allows Swift Invisibility at will with scaling dmg: 1d6 dmg 1st time, 2d6 2nd time, etc.
Valyrian Steel Dagger (+2)
The dagger that allows for True Strike is a crystalline presumably sentient slumbering artifact.

Also, I'm not sure if Goldfish tossed her anything else beyond that.

*Rolls*

Her stats are

15, 15, 15, 16, 13, 13

That's a lot of fair to middling rolls no weaknesses no great ones either. Pretty much perfect for a rogue

I've been running her more or less as a generic dual-wielding rogue in the background only occasionally glancing at what Shadow thief does so if you guys want to do a full sheet that will be great otherwise I'll do it, just probably more slowly as I dither over feats.

Damn, Sharra, you hit the genetic lottery. That's a really nice stat spread.

@Azel I'm assuming you'll put one of the 15s to her Constitution attribute? And the 16 for Dexterity?

I'll build her with:
Str 13
Dex 16
Con 15
Int 13
Wis 15
Cha 15

Rounding all the odds would be great.
I can round the odds (not counting Constitution which is of course getting +1'd) or give her a +5 Competence bonus to Hide and Move Silently. Which do you prefer?
