"Through our own mages' effeorts we have concluded that they originate in King's Landing with someone very well placed at court. Someone skilled in dealing with such matters had to know and we could not tell the Lannisters."
:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Great.

And good work besides, to get through all the arcane protections and mundane deceptions Varys used is truly a great success, even just to narrow it down so far as they have.

Oh okay I see then. I wonder how much we can use this information to frame the Lannisters with this. If we can deepen the wedge between the Manderlys and the Lannisters and use this information to deepen the wedge between Stark and the throne...then we have quite the opportunity with this.

-[X] "I can confirm the conclusions of your mages. It was indeed a very highly placed member of the Ursupers court that aided and coordinated the efforts of the Devils. He has been dealt with."
-[X] "For the sake of not burdening your oaths, I will not speak more about this matter, but rest assured that most of his work has already been undone with the remainder being taken care off soon."

@Goldfish
That should be all.

@DragonParadox
So he'll keep his lands in Volantis in addition to the new ones in Draconys?
Also, any idea if his brother will follow him?

Huh. And here I thought we'd spin a web of lies and play Manderlys against the Throne, to eventually take out some people in the court...
Oh well, I'm okay with this too.

For once I wouldn't play games here. Our actions speak louder then a Mage's Decree already.

1. We also found the connection to Kings Landing despite the remarkable handicap of not being able to openly work in Westeros.
2. We figured out the exact identity of the cultist.
3. We murdered the cultist with no one the wiser to it having happened.
4. We are dutifully dismantling everything he tried to achieve, plucking Devils out of Westeros like turnips.
5. Meanwhile, the Golden Shields were sitting on their thumbs and spinning.

Aww but I like games...yeah you are probably right though. We probably shouldn't use this right now. We can use this later to convince other Northern Lord though correct? I mean Manderly can always verify for us.

Nice, we got Aemon and secured Moonsong's services indefinitely.

Suggest adding something inline with the idea below:

[] That said, there is always the possibility that your information covers something that we have not found ourselves, a second cell, for example.

We got the devil's dealt with, but compartmentalisation is a thing, so there is a chance they caught something we didn't, and it also shows that Viserys is prudent when it comes to this sort of thing.

Also, means that he does not feel like he has had as much of a wasted trip.

Alternatively, hand the task getting what they know off to the inquisition (if they are involved in the nitty gritty?) or a party member, if people prefer to not spend Viserys time on it.

Screen time wise, it could be condensed to three or four sentences, probabaly.

What else do you think we could need to convince them? They came to us, appealing for aid when the Lannisters and Robert told them that they are imagining things. Now we tell them that we already took care of everything, getting rid of the Devil cultists in the Red Keep who did gods-knows-what directly under Roberts nose.

Who exactly looks like liege lord material in all of this? Hint: It's not the clown in Kings Landing.
Only Manderly wold know if a high courtmember died recently.

A word on that?
Nope. Let's just savor the dread he will feel when he notices that there is indeed nothing anyone noticed.

He's older than I thought.

I'll try to remember to update his sheet when I get time, probably this weekend.

He's older than I thought.
He's shared the hobby of research, occultism and occasional bloodmagic with Zherys for a long time before magic returned, so he had some Expert levels to retrain quickly once things got going.

For the age in general, he's in good health (some Valyrian blood helps) and has access to good healers, so it hasn't yet been a problem.

Well then in that case

Also are we talking to Roose this month or next month? In the minor actions page he is placed as a person of interest to talk to this month but we may not have the time for it.

@Azel - while I get the appeal of simplicity, I gotta say I'm a little disappointed we aren't taking this further. Whether by revealing some details of just how bad the situation was, or having them take another step towards effectively swearing themselves to us through making some sort of joint investigation ...

Man, wouldn't be a shame if something incriminating about Baelish was discovered before his mysterious disappearance?

Edits done. Zherys is fine with the Aemon swearing himself to Viserys. He knew it was a possibility when he sent him. Also one of Aemon's third level scrolls is going to be Shadow Steed.
