You know, I feel that the fact that a Wildling Lord is more amenable to us than most of the Westerosi nobility speaks volumes.
Yeah. The reasonable ruler list currently looks like this:
- Sealord of Braavos
- Lawful Evil Acting Archon of Volantis
- Two-Headed Snake Sorcerer from Sothoryos
- Walder Frey
- Magnar of the Thenn

...

That list is kinda depressing.

I would rather see her in Adamantine for the DR. And what is Tempest?
I have no idea what you are talking about. It always said Twilight. Even the quote!

Okay, Adamantine it is. Just gotta add the Caster Armor quality for the extra 5% and we're good to go.

Yrael doesn't make it onto the list? I thought he was doing quite well. Not that a single aditional name makes anything better.

She doesn't have a Spellsword level yet and will need a bit to qualify. I'm peachy with some minor ASF chance since the Bracers alleviate that, but we could just add Feycrafted and Thistledown Padding.

We got CotF, a Fungus Forge, a whole bunch of academically inclined Leshy... that should work fine.

I've only included people not currently ruled by us (or at least not in full).

If you include people who already sworn themselves to the Imperium:
- Yrael the Archon of Mantarys
- Wylla the former Vampire of Naath
- Relath the Dragon of Tolos (it was a long way, but I think he deserves the spot by now)
- Dorea Phassen, council leader of Myr

This isn't helping.
Wylla
Manderly?
That Lady in Myr
Khal Rhango
Point on Manderly and Rhango, I forgot about them.

Which is another regular human ruler and a barbarian horse-lord.

Yeah...

The number of actually sane rulers on Planetos is utterly depressing.

The lords sworn to us are reasonable?

Lord Brunes? Prince Martell? Lord Monford? Lord Royce?

What about our enemies or neutrals?

Also, for the record, while Doran is reasonable in some ways, he was nursing a fucking garbage fire in his backyard and completely ignoring it in hopes things would just manifestly get better. While Arianne is a fool in canon, here she could have been a fool caught in the grips of conspiracy powered by Devils, or Varys, or any number of vectors of approach, who would have been vastly more competent than her.

But in most ways that matter yes Doran is reasonable, just human. It's just that when you are in his position with so many enemies and threats around you, it is really not affordable to be human with even a single glaring flaw, since it will be ruthlessly exploited by deathless immortals and globe-trotting mages.

Lord Eustace Brune is less "reasonable" and more TOO MOTHERFUCKING LOYAL to trust his first instinct to kill all traitors, raise the dragon banner and start killing tax collectors in even more inventive and blatant ways as if to say "come at me bro".

Monford is also less reasonable and more "trying to organize sedition on a continental scale with limited information because if I don't I'm fucked" bless his loyalist heart.

...Yohn is pretty reasonable. About all I can say about him. He's certainly able to learn a new trick or two despite his age.

Cloying Gloom Blast (Su)

Three times per day, the shadow lord can unleash a 30-foot cone of cloying gloom. On a failed Fortitude saving throw, creatures in the cone are affected by a slow spell (caster level equal to the shadow lord's Hit Dice) and are blinded for the duration of the slow effect.

Planar Thinning (Su)

Once per day as a full-round action, a shadow lord can thin the barriers between the Material Plane and Shadow Plane, making it considerably easier for creatures to cross between the two. This functions like the planar travel aspect of the gate spell (caster level equal to the shadow lord's Hit Dice). This planar thinning is immediately dispelled if in an area of normal or bright light.

Incorporeal Step (Su)

When a shadow lord moves, it gains the incorporeal subtype and quality, including a deflection bonus to AC equal to its Charisma bonus. It loses the incorporeal subtype and special ability when it stops moving.

Spell-Like Abilities CL 7 (DC: 10 +Spell Level + 6):
At willray of sickening;
3/dayshadow conjuration, shadow step;
1/dayshadow walk.

A creature created with shadow conjuration or greater shadow conjuration that would normally have a celestial or fiendish template (such as a bear) instead gains the shadow creature template.

Sorcerer CL 7 (DC: 10+ Spell Level + 6):
Level 0: No Light, Message, Detect Magic, Detect Poison, Prestidigitation, Silent Portal (6/day)
Level 1: Touch of Idiocy, Shadow Trap, Touch of Blindness (8/day)
Level 2: Spectral Hand (5/day)

I'll add the Thistledown padding for another 5%. I just don't think we qualify for the Feycraft quality, though.
