@Azel - remind me, is there some sort of process we can take to determine if someone can become a mage, or is it more ambiguous? Trying to figure out if we should select the girl beforehand or see who's compatible and take them.
 
... honestly we could take all of them (sans the poisonous ones), we really need warm bodies who can read and write.

Decent with a sword and some leadership? Legion officer.

Not despaired by numbers? Administration.

Interested in knowledge? University.

Magic/high will? Scholarum

More than two of the above? -Has the eye of the Emperor trait adquired-.

Just take them Lonelywolf, get em out of there. If Fair Walda doesnt make it to the scholarum I can think of half a dozen other useful things she coukd do for us instead of moldering in the Twins.

Edit: Not that we'd say that to Walder Prime. I imagine it would be a Velaryon type situation.

This is just my headcanon, so ask @DragonParadox if this works:

Have a bastardized scroll of Light.
It has no power and needs a drop of mage blood to function.
Drop of blood from the person to test.
Glows -> Mage
Doesn't -> Muggle

That looks like something that would work, and more importantly something the Volantines would have tried and Teana would have researched so you did not have to.

Anyway do you guys want an interlude or another update?

I love interludes of the Grand Festival, but I also want to get back to the Grand Festival as fast as we can.

Of course they will have divination used on them just to make sure they aren't going to fuck us over as unlikely as that may be. That goes without saying though security checks for everyone if someone takes a shit in an alley in sorcerers deep we know within a few minutes.

Oddly enough, I want to see WP in the flesh for chats more than awesome festival interludes.
 
@DragonParadox, seeing as we still have actions we had no sight of completing, and a ton of minor actions, all on top of the festival?
And, what, mere 10 days left till the end of the month?

I'd highly appreciate you churning out interludes like there is no tomorrow.

Like Fungal Pods.
Or Teana talking with Queen Rhaella (the driad)
or seeing how Shara is doing in finding her ancestral sword.
Or getting a bunch of items we are due from Silver Eye.

You know, the things we don't even need Viserys' IC look into, but need a note on ending.

that, or you just drop all minor actions to one-liners when we reach the end of the month.
