Define "things going south" a bit.

For example if someone goes down we could just cast Close Wounds or bloodwish for Mass CLW, rather than ending the fight then and there.
We have other options.

I don't think so.
These are more animal-like than Shantak with their INT 8 would be.

Also Shantak are known to live in cold climates, while these things are in the far south and likely even came from Sothyros.
And Viserys noted they don't look particularly sturdy, which doesn't fit to 11-HD Huge creatures with good CON.

Too many things that could qualify to spell it out. The general idea is to interfere as little as possible and as much as necessary.
 
@Azel commune with nature via staff to check for beasties or magic upwellings when we are within range of the source?

Partially because I want to use the staff again :)

It's less about the details, more about the idea to intervene with gradual escalation, rather than immediatly ending the fight.

More like healing a wounded mage, or blasting a Chupa about to deal the finishing blow, rather than killing them all in any but the most dire situations.

I remember leaving behind an arcane marking but not sure about the ravens. I know for a fact we haven't placed a magical brazier though. Is there a spell that allows for conversations through mirrors? Like back and forth?

Edit: Never mind we have installed Braziers in their lands

Any resemblance to the fictional Jabberwocky is completely coincidental, or should be taken as a sign that the Fey are piercing the 4th Wall in order to infect our reality with their madness.
 
Speaking of Dragons, do you guys remember the template/creatures we unlocked from Valyria? The half-dragon, true dragon templates? Do we know how long it would take to unlock them in the forge?

About 1 1/2 years ago Dany broke free from Tiamat and since then had to sacrifice a coin to herself each day to prepare her magic.

Did she spend those on small niceties, or did she do what Azel suggested back then, gather them in a jar labeled "not Tiamat's money"?
Should be about 500 coins by now.
