When I get back to my computer I'll look at the inventory, but I've been preparing peoples' gear, making things slotless in anticipation of the Mind Blank items.
Excellent. Presumably we can commission another three Mind Blank items for the remaining Companions for 66,000 IM, and then after that we can get started on strategic people like Alinor, Teana, and Ser Gerold, and then after that we can make sure the Baby and Subordinate adventurers are equipped.

By the way, since we have so many crafters now, would you mind making sure that Reva, Liset, Joran, and Thoros all have Amulets of PfE? Before it was a question of priorities, but now it's a lot more achievable.

We now need three more and then we're all covered for all the Companions.

Does that include Rhaella? I feel like she's politically important enough to get one.

I'd rather be divisive than indecisive. Drop the niceties. They want a coalition fine they can deal with the consequence that comes after.

I don't know how our enemies will treat a neutrally viewed city on our continent, but in the interest of seeing the most amazing powder keg of a Yakety Sax-

Tree and Snake damn it, I'm willing to wait for it!

I doubt Bahamut like Slaver's Bay at all, if it's indeed Bahamut who's the hero who's been around there, then it's probably a matter of him only having a very minor Avatar, and so he's been doing what he can with it.

"Doing what he can"

Can:
Kill the champion Harpy that ruled the city.

Cannot:
Be fucked sticking around to actually help create something better instead of only destroying the elements he disagrees with, and even then half-assedly.

Story checks out.

Where did evidence that this was Bahamut come up? I was thinking it was Time Travelled No Named Renly?

We now have 25 Healing Belts, 15 PfE rings, and 5 PfE amulets in stock. Make me a list of who needs what and I'll add them to the inventory.

19 Greater Ribbons of Disguise, too.

Heh, the quintessential items of this quest, it seems like.

Remember when everyone and their mother could pick out the Dragonlord from a crowd a mile away?

Ah, those halcyon days. Now we have like six false identities/personas... some cross-species!

Mind Blank items cost 22,000 IM each to commission, so unfortunately we'll be getting those at a snails pace every month, but given say 6 months everyone important should be protected. +1 Soulfire Mithral Bracers on the other hand only cost 5,000 IM, so we can get everyone important equipped within a few months.

That's a relief. :)

Joran of Dragonstone -- needs PfE and Healing Belt
Reva Bealus -- needs PfE and Healing Belt
Liset Bealus -- needs PfE and Healing Belt
Thoros Voronys -- needs PfE and Healing Belt
Ysilla Royce -- needs PfE and Healing Belt
Kyla Fairwind -- has PfE, needs Healing Belt
Jorel Fairwind -- needs PfE and Healing Belt
3 Changeling Babies - each needs a PfE (in anticipation of Deep Ones trying something again)

After that we'll honestly be good. Everyone else is equipped.

Also, have you kept track of what we gave to Danar and Alyssa?

They might not be strategic assets, but they're all still our wards. We're obligated to provide minimal protection like this, and with a war with the Deep Ones on the horizon it's only prudent.

Also, @Goldfish, I found an old post that says that Animated Shields only cost 900 IM. Is that something Valaena might be able to make use of?

Yes, they're both in the inventory page.

She might be able to, but Magus' don't normally have proficiency with shields. She could learn, of course, but she would be subject to ASF chance if trying to use it without the Animated ability.

If she gets hit with ASF then of course it'll be dropped. I was just hoping that her class features would let her bypass it.

We really don't. Wasn't it already built with large population growth in mind?
And there's this great invention called "ticket bookings" I'm sure our steward can handle...

The hippodrome of Constantinople would still be one of the largest stadiums in the world so I have never accepted this argument. Big stadiums work when you're the centre of the world and to make you the centre of the world.

@Goldfish @TotallyNotEvil @TalonofAnathrax

Can we get Theon and Asha's levelup votes decided on, or is it still in debate?

Here's the latest level up builds I can find. @TotallyNotEvil and @TalonofAnathrax were still chewing on the Asha level up when the subject came up.

EDIT: The only change I've made since we last discussed these was to swap in Aquatic Calvary in place of Cat's Grace for Theon. Cat's Grace is of limited utility for him. Aquatic Calvary isn't much of a combat spell, but it's a great utility tool for Theon to keep prepared, considering how he does all of his adventuring from a ship.

[] Theon Level Up
-[] Class: +1 Mystic Ranger
-[] Improved Combat Style (Archery): Manyshot
-[] Skills (8 points): +1 Knowledge(Dungeoneering), +1 Knowledge(Nature), +1 Spot, +1 Survival, +2 Knowledge(Arcana), +2 Knowledge(The Planes)
-[] Spell Loadout:
--[] Level 0: Cure Minor Wounds, Light, Mending, Purify Food and Drink (4/day)
--[] Level 1: Guided Shot, Hawkeye, Hunter's Mercy, Primal Hunter (3+1/day)
--[] Level 2: Aquatic Cavalry, Primal Instinct, Swift Haste(2+1/day)
--[] Level 3: Arrowsplit, Fickle Winds, Find the Gap(2+1/day)

[] Asha Level Up
-[] Class: +1 Rogue
-[] Alternate Class Feature: Trap Sense >>> Penetrating Strike
-[] Retrained Feats: Sidestep Charge >>> Combat Expertise, Dodge >>> Deadly Defense, Weapon Focus (Handaxe) >>> Riposte
-[] Skills (10 points): +1 Balance, +1 Bluff, +1 Intimidate, +1 Profession (Sailor), +1 Spot, +1 Swim, +1 Tumble, +3 Sense Motive

Looks fine to me. I'm honestly just wanting this to get voted on so we can have DP update the sheets rather than just having them be in limbo.

On a side note, we should see if Bloodraven will let us borrow Danar and Alyssa from time to time for different missions.

Oh I know how I sound. I am being callous and uncaring. That is exactly how I would feel if some dumbass country in the ass middle of nowhere tried to start shit with the nation we are building.
I once again feel the need to point out that Qohor is not in fact "a dumbass backwater." It's actually one of the richest Free Cities, and certainly has access to a considerable amount of arcane knowledge, close ties with some sort of divine being or monster, and an Industrial Flesh Forge. Not exactly a bunch of hicks.
I'd rather be divisive than indecisive. Drop the niceties.
Nice reference.
Of course I doubt they will go that far. Frankly they will only fight us if they are too attached to their slaves. Your fears aren't worth much because they aren't a threat.Tiamat is a threat, the illthilids are a threat, A coalition of Lorath, Qohor and Norvos is not.
I'm aware of the fact that the last of the Free Cities are unlikely to put up a significant fight, although I will call out and oppose this heedless arrogance whenever I see it. What it does pose is a massive distraction when we need to focus on legitimate threats, a considerable amount of time and effort to conquer and integrate, and a prime set of proxies for all of our many, many foes to engage us through. Not to mention the destruction, death, and chaos such a war would cause, which some of us care about.

It would just be so much better and more convienient if the rest of the Free Cities bloodlessly submitted to us, and that's much more likely to happen if we tackle whatever's going down in Qohor.

@Goldfish, how much does an item of Freedom of Movement cost?

Alternatively, we can go with a plan that actually makes sense on a geographic level and pressure Norvos before focusing on Qohor. Norvos will not be able to stand up to our full attention, regardless of whatever attempts at a coalition it tries, and this way we'll actually have a continual Imperium rather than just the Three Daughters on the western coast and then Qohor randomly hundreds of miles inland, separated from the rest of our realm by land that isn't ruled by us.

It would be convenient if everyone just surrendered to us, but I'm unconvinced that getting Qohor first is the way to do it. It makes far more sense to secure the land route before attempting to diffuse the cultist bomb. This isn't Tyrosh that's literally at our doorstep, the logistics of this don't just stop being a problem solely because we have Teleport.

EDIT: Ring of Freedom of Movement

8,000 IM to buy? That's... honestly, I'd love to equip everyone with these if we've got the room for it. Ser Richard already has one of his own from Mammon's Aspect, and Viserys has one in his Cowl of Warding enchantment on his crown, so that's... ten more to equip every Companion.

EDIT 2: @Goldfish, everyone needs Freedom of Movement to keep the Mindflayers from grappling them and eating their brains.
