...

I'm now very, very tempted to go the Goldfish route to devour that sweet, sweet Mythic power.

...

Restrain that urge. She's more powerful than us on a Mythic scale, and has at least 6th level spellcasting. I would also rather not kick off outright war with the Reach Fey at this point, given there is no way that she isn't a major member of their peerage.

Ooor we can do a reasonable thing and capture it, mind-wham it untill it yeilds us all of the information it has, and then sacrifice it. For Mythic power, or else.

Why would we trust anything Fey says?

*Pitchforking intensifies*

Please see above.

See this might be my dislike to deals made in bad faith...but the only negotiations I want to have with a fey is at the end of a cold-iron weapon. So I am gonna sit this one out because I might be a tad biased here.

Well, duh. Of course I'm not sacrificing our strategic goals for a quick shiny.

It's just that I would really love to gain our 3rd Mythic rank as part of the coronation, because it would be so perfectly fitting.

I'm not sure of this, but we might be able to get a Mythic rank for pulling off the biggest sacrifice in millennia.

Aww :(
And here I got a hateboner ready and everything...

Anyone having Mythic power is bad.
A Fey having it?

Ffffffuck that, burn it with Wyldfire.

What can I say? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I have trust in a certain aberration someone... thing. Someonething.

I think you'll find that most operators with Mythic Power are likely going to be Fey due to the thematic Story and Legend connections.

Pr-retty much my assumptuion at the moment as well.

We aren't going to have a more powerful ritual happening around us to syphon power from for a looong while.
How many HD are going into the Dawn Age Tree at this point? Over a thousand?
A minimum of 1620HD is planned.
Probably more, depending on how Mercury lake and Sothoryos go.

[X] Plan Polite Chit-Chat
-[X] Bring with you: Lothos Saan, Queen Rhealla Dryad, Diana, Moonsong, Asha, Theon // Both because all of these people are important members of our small fleet and to hammer home that they are valued subjects. Paxter will be less likely to move aggressively when he knows that part of the attendants have already been offended by him.
-[X] Topics to talk about:
--[X] Start with some polite, lordly gossip. Try to pull out some information about Westeros, the Reach Fey and especially that upcoming conclave they have in Oldtown.
--[X] In return, offer some juicy but ultimately meaningless information of your own to put them at ease and to let them keep talking:
---[X] You were in Lys earlier this month to see for yourself the army put together there against you. Turns out the organizer couldn't even build a proper camp and now his "mighty host" is busy shitting itself all day. What an idiot. // Helps to sell that we were not involved in the actions of Aedon when we make jokes about it from the perspective of someone entirely uninvolved. Also projects strength, for weak lords don't laugh when armies are raised against them.
---[X] Passingly mention that Mantarys and Tolos have integrated into your realm after a period of alliance to present a stronger front against the attacks from Slavers Bay on their cities. // Again, strength and this is likely something that Westeros is genuinely unaware of by now, so something valuable for Paxter to see value in keeping the discussion going.
---[X] Discuss the Braavos - Pentos situation a bit. // Again something he might see value in to keep discussing in hopes of gaining something juicy from us. Fat chance of that happening.
--[X] Try to find out for what reason they are looking for this crown.

That's the info-gathering part. We'll see where to go from there.

Ideally we'll be able to establish the same relationship with the Reach Fey that the Braavosi and Horroways' Town did with theirs, but I doubt it. They almost certainly see themselves as entitled to do whatever they want to mortals with more or less complete impunity, although they are playing a game with the Reach nobility. Having us swoop in and shut that down will ruffle many feathers. The good news is that the faith hates them and vice versa, so we can have them focus on each other.

You have a real nasty habit of moving the goalposts, don't you?
:p
It will all be worth it in the end, you'll see.

Old Gods are kind of amazing like that - DP ruled we can't overfeed them even with twice this amount. Or thrice.

It seems they are conceptually hungry, y'all.
We need something really filling.
Okay now hold on it was always joked about that it would be 1620HD. It just became serious is all.
*summoning enemy agents from hundreds of True Names we got throughout the quest intensifies*

I see someone needs a lesson in how power works.

She has more.

This means that we have a good chance of losing.

Oh, and we'd be breaking parley, which is tantamount to being an oathbreaker. I'm sure this would have no negative connotations whatsoever.
She has 3 Mythic Ranks on a CR 9 chassis.
Viserys has 1 Mythic Rank on a CR 17 Sorc chassis, which is also a Adult Red True Dragon chassis. Because fuck you, that's why.

I'm pretty sure she would be troublesome, but unless we get cocky, we should be perfectly capable of killing her.

We originally planned on 1080 HD, but given the recent successes with capturing fiends and summoning them from poisoning Prime Material 1620 HD is the new goal. Heck, we're already scheduled to go get that Mercury Lake. We have these things to look forward to there.
Desires to transcend one's element aside, Echo Caller mentions that there are two quicksilver lakes that he knows of, both unclaimed by any major powers, but not without their dangers. One lies near a colony of vicious xenarths while the other is often shrouded in poisoned vapors that often hide voracious oozes and other, even stranger beasts. "You aught be be safe enough out there I reckon, but take care just the same," the scout concludes his account of how one might reach the two quicksilver reservoirs.
An entire colony of xenarths. :)

It's not an unreasonable goal, imo. We can totally pull this off, and the reward is going to be massive.

So far we only know she has more Mythic power, not more power.
The Fire Giants back with those Efreeti Sorcerers had even higher Mythic rank and were still just mooks.

The Lea-chassis is vastly less powerful than we are, the only deciding factor is how much DP juiced her up.
