And I'm pretty sure that Dark Chaos shuffle lets you bypass the "must be level 1" thing.

If the subject possesses any Abyssal heritor feats, one of them is immediately removed and replaced by any other feat for which the subject qualifies (except an Abyssal heritor feat).
Read the bolded part.
A character above level 1 does not qualify for a feat that has the the requirement of being only for level 1.

The sight of a hyena-headed demon using dismembered limbs to strike a sobbing boy scarce ten years old about the head and shoulders makes you lose your focus out of sheer rage and incinerate the thing even though it might have been worth keeping for a sacrifice.

If you're not a sacrifice, you're becoming a trophy.

In any case, this is a fantastic haul of sacrifices. I am very pleased with the end results. @DragonParadox, can we heal the cursed people and strip them of the ritual's effects?

If we are preparing cheese fondue, polymorph any object into an outsider, and then reincarnate into a real outsider. That doesn't die of old age.

"A Song Of Ice And Fires That Weren't All My Fault" is a thing already, you know.

Hey, what's wrong with that?
As long as you aren't abusing it to get infinite feats, it should be fine. 2 levels 9 spells and 500xp for a retraining shouldn't be much of an issue.
It's basically Psychic Reformation, but weirder.

Oh, come on!
The side benefits are meant for people who have already lived that long. But clearly the feat is what let's you live that long in the first place.

And I'm pretty sure that Dark Chaos shuffle lets you bypass the "must be level 1" thing.

Putting it in the same boat as psychic reformation isn't exactly great company but go ahead and choose which Abyssal Heritor feats we would be using and then explain how DP will both allow it and not drown us in consequences.

The shuffle allows you to get any feat you qualify for, if you aren't level 1 then you don't qualify.

I am pretty sure we can just MAKE people immortal with miracle.

I know that one infinite torture spell does and that's ninth level.

The condition of the feat is clearly meant to mean "do this at character creation, don't get millennia of experience just because of a level-up".
But then nothing should really stop us from giving the feat but not the bonuses from experience, really. If DP agrees that is, but this does feel like something that could be argued.

I have an idea for the Trophy Room, @Duesal.

For creatures who we kill in multiples, there should only be a single example, but below each one we should affix a brass plaque with tally marks to represent how many of that species we have killed.

Seems a bit tacky to be honest with you, I prefer a museum style plaque, general history and knowledge with a specific comment about this specimen, how and where it was acquired etc.

Out for the night, will gladly change to a better level-plan in the morning, just want this to happen this month.

I'm not that sold on the idea either. Having plagues would be nice, especially if we incorporate a minor illusion that can replay a bit of the battle that saw that specimen killed.

Any plaques we have must be informative. A specific number of kills is not necessary if the plaque informs how prolific the creature is (or was) at the places where we've encountered it.

The tally can be kept out of sight if necessary, but we absolutely need to keep a count of how thorough we've been in cleansing reality of monsters.

Have we been keeping track of the HD and Type of the ash we collected or are the specific components abstracted by our habit of collecting ashes?

And when are we actually going to give Viserys that extra Fire boost from all these collections? The Dawn Tree has me keen to get that going too.

I have been. It's at the bottom of the Larder.

I'll add the new batch of corpses to the list once DP clarifies what we got.
