Not a lot of interest in leaving Tygett a subversive letter (doubling as a threat)? Or were people waiting for a full write-up before chiming in with their opinion?

He was only six when he had to leave King's Landing with his mother. There wasn't much to talk about. There was quite a bit of worry, though, because Aerys doted on Viserys, and people saw potential future conflict with Rhaegar.

Nothing at all? Find it hard to believe.

Mostly asking because been thinking how people saw him then would see him now.

Opinions like his father, mother, brother, Elie, and others there when he was young.

  • [X] Agree to let Dany heal Shireen while you recover Rhaella's bones
    [X] Argue against it
-[X] The longer we tarry in Dragonstone, and the more people whose path we cross, the greater the likelihood of discovery. Let's collect the bones, without splitting up, then continue our journey.

I just dont think its worth the effort, they dont have a real reason to be afraid of us (yet), so its Safe to assume he would just laugh and tell Tywin.

That would be fine. In fact, the more Lannisters who know about it (to laugh about it), the more Lannisters who when deathly afraid of us think back to it and go "that's not as funny as I thought. Maybe there is merit in it. Maybe that is how I save myself and my loved ones"

I'll do a write up then, unless DP closes the vote before I'm done.

Not really, no. That has a chance of poking Tygett and I'd rather just get Bloodraven quest finished before anything else.

Hard to believe, but there's not much else I can say. He was a child. Not like Dany is now, he was a completely normal child. There really wasn't much to say about him other than who his parents happened to be.

As for how he's changed...

Rhaella last saw Viserys as a sweet little boy holding his infant sister in his arms swearing to do his best to protect her.

When Rhaella wakes again, she'll be facing a regal man, confident in his bearing, proud in his demeanor, with a power in his eyes that is more felt than seen. Viserys was born to be king, and good god does it show.

I'm inclined to agree with @Goldfish here, but I recognise it as a bad habit formed through the terror of random encounters.

Further indebting Stannis to us sounds great.

Within the last 30 IC days, we had Surprise!Lich blow off Waymars arm, Surprise!Doomblob nearly enslaving Dany, then fought Surprise!Tiamat and Surprise!AMF-Chicken before being attacked by Surprise!Devil-Assassin.

It ain't paranoia if everything is trying to kill you.

But fighting any Lannister-mages Tygett might call to help now might actually help us in the long term.
Poweful mages are still damn rare and we just heard that more teachers mean faster levelling for the new ones.

Only the Lannister's best could actually challendge us, so hoping for a chance to capture Lanna is not totally unrealistic.

-[X] After you have both finished your tasks, leave a letter for the Lannister in a public but unoccupied place, before teleporting out.
--[X] Outline the crimes you hold Tywin accountable for (the murder of children through Amory Lorch and Gregor Clegane, the rape and murder of Elia Martell, the sack of King's Landing, and aiding in the usurpation of the crown), but state you do not seek the utter destruction and ruination of his house. He (and the specified bannermen) will be held accountable for their crimes, but you will spare any Lannister that does not fight you, but instead bends the knee when the time comes, up to and including Jaime Lannister, and furthermore free him from his oath as a Kingsguard, you would spare Tywin's grandchildren and see them fostered with Stannis Baratheon or other honorable relatives if he is rendered unavailable, as long as they do not take the crown. If they did take the crown, you would still give children greater mercy than Tywin did, by sending them to the wall or the silent sisters. If, when the time comes, they bend the knee promptly, they will have much less confiscated from their house, but if they prove stubborn, they will lose more the longer they delay. If House Lannister proves intractable, it will be ended within this generation, with no one bearing that name holding lands, lordship, or among the living a hundred years hence, forever known for their folly.

Thanks, but hell no. I'm quite happy with being reasonably certain that this won't start a random tangent.

However...

I'd rather not lock us into any promises of the sort, least of all in a letter. If we offer terms like this it's going to be in person from a position of power where we already have one or more Lannisters in captivity.

It's going to be a shock for Rhaella that's for sure. Just seeing her son will throw her off.

I can see Aerys being smug and angry at how Viserys is for the same reasons. along with the fact Viserys hates you s guts.

Rhaegar and Elie reaction to Viserys is a mystery to me.

I promise little outside of what we'd already do. We're not going to murder children. If they bend the knee quickly we wont eliminate them totally. *shrugs* I'm not expecting them to accept it, and since these (outside of not murdering children) are all conditional promises, I'm not really giving anything away.

It's less what you're offering and more the manner you're offering it. A letter is the least dramatic and impactful way you could do it. This is something best handled in person with our social buffs active and lots and lots of witnesses to spread rumors.

Let's not preclude killing children yet. Joffery is will still be a kid when we end up fighting the war.

Too soon to throw down the gauntlet like that... I'd issue a public declearatio graften on to the ravens that will declare our invasion. Too many things can still change, if Tywin throws his lot in with Baator for example its not out of the question we'd chuck most Lannisters into Yss' gob and confiscate everything the rest owns.

Edit: besides, Tyggett will read it and then promptly hand it to Tywin, who will burn it and achieve nothing.
