That works too, my point is, she doesn't need to let go of being a sorceress in order to fill that niche you guys want for her.
In light of this agreement I'll vote again.

"doing activities her father did not approve of" could mean knitting embroidery in a reverse pattern for all we know.
@bigbow, Goldfish has already been swayed by TNE's arguments and switched over:Hmm I feel Goldfish's plan lacks a little substance, could you add this?
-[X] Lady Valeana, let me be honest with you. Times are changing like never before, throught the world magic stirs anew like old coal and dry kindling set alight by the winds of a coming storm. I intend to ride at the forefront of that change, to reap its increadible rewards not only to myself but to those I rule...
-[X] but I cant do it alone. I'll need trusted people with me every step of the way. A new breed of nobleman and noblewoman to tame, no, to master this new world. Able with sword, wit and sorcery, they will embody my will across Westeros and perhaps... perhaps even beyond... and I believe that if you concentrate on your studies and your training, you, Valeana, will be at the vanguard of such group. It will not be easy, they will not be thr knigths of old tales, there will be danger, mortal danger... but this I guarantee, Valeana... we will be able to create something for all the world to stand in awe.
@Goldfish
Something like this?
She isn't in the academy yet, no. Which is why I'm voting for pointing her there.@DragonParadox, is Hermetia learning magic yet or is she just lazing around?
@bigbow, tbh I just want to get her to get started on magic in general. DP said that she would need to be convinced to even start lessons for anything unladylike. I know a battlemage is awesome and I would love to get her started on something martial, but if we push for martial training now we'll have less of a chance of convincing her. Let's take it one step at a time. Lessons with Ser Richard won't be going anywhere.Oops, eer @TotallyNotEvil what do you think about this?

Err, @TotallyNotEvil, you're voting for putting Valaena in the Academy. Hermetia is the noblewoman we rescued from Volantis who DP confirmed is capable of gaining PC levels. I would be happy to boot her into the Academy, but I don't see that in your vote. She isn't in the academy yet, no. Which is why I'm voting for pointing her there.

Anyway, when we make our sacrifice we'll get a chance to talk to Bloodraven. We should be thinking about the questions we want to ask him in advance.
Questions for Bloodraven:
1. If we grow a Heart Tree that doesn't have all secondary effects maxed out (basically anything less than a Tier 3 Tree), are we allowed to later make more sacrifices to max it out or are we stuck with the tree we've got?
2. Are we allowed to make sacrifices to extend the range of a Heart Tree? For example, if we have a Heart Tree with Tongues attached as one of the secondary effects, can we later make sacrifices to extend that range by several hundred more feet in every direction?
3. Can you tell us of the things you've glimpsed in Westeros? Any strange events we should be aware of?
4. Tiamat's demons told us they'd be seeking and aiding the Blackfyres against us. Any general advice?
5. How do we make sacrifices for rewards other than weirwoods? Do we just sacrifice while holding what we want in our minds, or is there another trick to it?
6. Do you have any servants/plans in Westeros we should take care not to interfere with? Ruining your plans out of ignorance would be unfortunate.
When we grew our Heart Tree, Bloodraven stuck around for a couple days after. I think we'll have plenty of time for all our questions.Maybe just ask about extensive lore of Heart Trees in general, let's not miss something by thinking were clever enough to ask every relevant question, though it might be worth keeping them as backup questions if he gets all cryptic wiseass on us.
Clarify what this hateboner they have is and the resolution, also I saw a quote earlier that the Old Gods "would see" lines ended or something to that effect. The admittedly short quote is relevant because they have other champions doing that now, so if they haven't asked it of us directly we might have a much easier time than expected.

I wouldn't mind another cleric. In this case "swayed" might be a bit too strong. I just don't mind her being a Sorcerer.
If the pizza I ate last night wasn't doing terrible things to me this morning, I might be more inclined to push for Vaelana to be a Cleric of the Merling King with the Ocean and Death Domains like I originally wanted.
Low average Wisdom in people who join us.In this case "swayed" might be a bit too strong. I just don't mind her being a Sorcerer.

Clerics are great for PR in peacetime.Cleric has the bonus of potentially being punchier than straight-up sorcerer.
I like punchy.
Abj Champion works perfectly fine for extra punchy.
You don't need much to use a lance, really. Get a +1 Valorous Lance, two feats to pick up Spirited Charge and there you go.
