@Goldfish
Are you really sure about that:
"-[] Viserys assumes LHD form and casts Voice of the Dragon and Air of Nobility. As we travel toward the harbor, gather up survivors of the night's atrocities to keep them safe and instill into them the idea that we are their saviors."
The survivors are already traumatized, adding the Voice of the Dragon and Air of Nobility combo could really unhinge a lot of them.

[X] Make our way to the harbor to check on Dany and the Pech.
-[X] Viserys casts Voice of the Dragon and Air of Nobility (using Versatile Spellcaster; two 2nd level spells for AoN and two 3rd level spells for VotD). As we travel toward the harbor, gather up survivors of the night's atrocities to keep them safe and instill into them the idea that we are their saviors.
-[X] Richard and Waymar will kill anyone who tries to attack us or the group of survivors we are gathering.
-[X] Once we reach the harbor, if she is able, have Dany use a Sending spell to contact Vee. Tell her to bring Garin and Maelor with her, if they is available.

Isn't Garin already there? We should double check who we nabbed to be with Dany.

Already removed the LHD part.

VotD and AoN won't hurt anyone so long as we don't use it for Intimidation purposes. Viserys' Diplomacy getting such a large boost will allow him to talk panicked and traumatized people into calming down and following our group for their own safety. If it also happens to make them see us as benevolent protectors and saviors of their town, that's just a pleasant side-effect.

[X] Tyene uses her Major Image to paint a big "Dany come over" signal above us
-[X] Viserys casts AoN, keeps up the human disguise and makes his way to the harbor, keeping survivors save and bringing looters to heel
--[X] Priority is getting survivors of the townguard or garrisoned troops to help us restore order, familiar people will be invaluable for that task
-[X] Meanwhile Dany uses Divination to find out if hunting for the missing Maenads is likely to succede, then helps us with restoring order

Should we attempt to gather whatever guardsmen we can find so we can better organize trying to bring order to area?

Plan updated to take into account various voter concerns.

[X] Make our way to the harbor to check on Dany and the Pech.
-[X] Viserys casts Air of Nobility (using two 2nd level spell slots rather than a 3rd level slot). As we travel toward the harbor, gather up survivors of the night's atrocities to keep them safe and instill into them the idea that we are their saviors. Any town guards or soldiers we encounter along the way who we don't need to kill will be ordered to accompany us and assist the survivors.
-[X] Richard and Waymar will kill anyone who tries to attack us or the group of survivors we are gathering. If attacked by another Maenad, they will instead subdue it; our relevant combat spells are seriously depleted.
-[X] Once we reach the harbor, have Vee begin teleporting the transformed Maenad back to SD. Tell her to have Lya Fabricate a metal cage for them, one for the tortoises and another for the fox, then keep them in the Tower's anti-Divination room.

I missed that clarification from DP.
It's actually not the case. The combo is damaging to NPCs no matter what we use it for:
OOC: Your poor roll (4 which came out as 41) for intimidation saved you from causing any lasting mental damage to those who heard you. Basically if you roll over 50 for social skills and more than half of the result is magical enhancement of some kind or another the result is a wide ranging and usually mentally damaging compulsion, like say committing suicide by giant shark rather than remain in your presence because you are so terrifying.
So a translation of the (effectively) DC 50 skill use of Bluff that allows you to instill a non-magical Suggestion effect. Gotcha.
An uncontroled and often self destructive suggestion if you achieve the result by stacking too many buffs yes.
What about if we use it in a diplomacy setting like when we're trying to convince someone of a deal or something? Would it still be harmful to the mind?
Yes, say you were trying to sell someone chocolate... they might become obsessed with it to the point of hiring assassins to kill you for your stock of chocolate.
Fortunately it's a very useful tool against PCs and magical creatures, and against any NPCs we absolutely despise.

In any case, Goldfish has removed the combo from his plan.

EDIT: Never mind, Goldfish is right. The combo is safe for Diplomacy.

He said that so long as no more than half of the bonuses for the check result were to product of magic, on results of 50+, damage would not be done. That should make it safe to use Diplomacy, but not Bluff or Intimidate.

Is that correct, @DragonParadox?

It's correct. It's even in the part Duesal Quoted. Conditions for damage are over 50, and over half is magical (so equal or less than is fine).

My bad. So is our Diplo high enough that the combo is safe?

Thinking about it, I'd still rather not use VotD right now. We are totally tapped out on 4th level spells, but have two 3rd level slots remaining. If it's an emergency and we need another Assay Spell Resistance, we can use those 3rd level slots with Versatile Spellcaster. That's also why my plan specifies using two 2nd level slots to cast AoN, to keep the 3rd level slots available.

We also have no 5th level slots, so we need to be very careful with what we cast, if it's needed at all.

Dealing nonlethal damage is easy enough for them. Just suffer a -4 penalty to the attack roll. Against commoners and low level NPCs they should still hit.

Why kill even more people?

Lost agency or not, there's something intrinsically pleasurable about binging 3/4 updates at once. Brings me back to the old times when I was trawling the thread, discussion post after discussion post and arriving at a threadmark like a tavern in the road...

Granted, it took like 6 months, but still!
