Couldn't they then have used it to ask how to better arrange the traps?

We didnt bring Vee the day before because we thought it might hurt her efforts in TD. If it doesn't, there is little sense in her not being here already.

Also, I asked about Firebrand before. While we can't stack firebrands, shouldn't we be able to affect a creature more than once if it's big enough? Maybe one more brand per size category above medium/large?

It might be a distraction guys.
  1. The strongest divination spell you have is commune. Using that to get tactical information is hard because it gives yes of no answers. If you had written in some plan to get around that it would have been one thing but as is you have nothing, sorry.
  2. About stacking Firebrand, no because it is very unbalancing.

Ware peril unlooked for, Ether Swimmer, Flesh Twister, Mind Bender,
So certain enemies?
Ware the flock untended, least all be for naught
Obviously this means we need a named character or two with villagers or they are all going to die.
Ware the waves last as they were first
So basically a big boss is going to show up at the end?

[X] Yes
-[X] Fetch Vee on the day of the attack, have her stay with the villagers and summon a Unicorn to keep them in a PfE-Circle and Satyrs to guard them and make spot-checks.
-[X] Maelor also stays with them
-[X] Waymar keeps See Invisibility active

[X] Attack the strange creature

-[X] Garin gives himself and Richard Airwalk
-[X] Teleport Viserys, those two and Glyra to a point slightly above the flying creature.
-[X] Sky-Sushi time!
-[X] Stay together, ready to teleport back as soon as the thing is dead or you have to retreat.

As I read the "Ware the waves last" line the threat from the water will be the last thing to come, so we should have time for a Sushi-session.

Am i the only thats tearing a tsunami Will wipe away the village? We should get those people to high ground.
Also, obvious solution:
[] Summon giant celestial loggerhead turtle and giant celestial blue angel sea slug.
Man o'wars are defenseless against those.

Why fetch Vee the very same day instead of the day before, that's a waste of spells.

I'm not overly keen on not giving Garin his Greater Invisibility. That spell means he can solo most of anything, as he'd trigger SA by himself.

@DragonParadox the thing is half an hour away from the beach, but that's at its pace, right? How fast could Viserys fly within half a kilometer or so of it?

I want to interrupt her work as little as possible? But this should be just as good:

Well you move three times as fast so...ten minutes or so.

Why not have a invisible Viserys and Dany scouting party guest above it, scan it for threats, and tentatively fireball it from max range?

@Azel By the way about Lya's Lores, I thought Fire next for some Firepower, then on 4 Water so she can create a Water-Arcana as teacher and researcher, right as her first one, they seem to be the best suited for the task.

That costs us 20 minutes minimum of being without Viserys in the defence. I'd hate to abandon it so long.

Yeah, but the other plan leaves the sleeping mystery mindflayer alone for gods know how long. Viserys can be warned through Garin's whisper of shadow ability if he is needed.

Sounds good. Fiery Burst and spontaneous Fireballs should go a long way and +2 Deflection AC can't hurt.

Not sure about the Water-Arcanum through. I'm still more partial to Good-Positive as a healbot first.
