[X] Plan A Few Other Details

I will note that these adjustments will probably lead to us getting a reputation for being petty, seeing as the two houses who vocally and publicly denounced our tourney victory and even demanded that we apologize to them, Peake and Baratheon, are the only ones who will be loosing land if this goes our way.

But I actually do support that. Having a reputation for petty and not forgetting slights will probably work to counterbalance the stereotypes about female rulers being "weak" and "soft".

Also, Viserys, Qoren, let us fucking have this, Ok?

We have been playing ball to an incredible degree here, considering how rebellious and defiant Rhaenyra actually is, demanding that the worst offender of the smear campaign against us doesn't get rewarded for it, is not asking much.

[X] Plan A Few Details

Pssst, can we give all the lands that would have gone to the Peakes to the Tarly's instead? I'm asking for a friend...
I don't see the issue with going to Dorne every few turn. The thread had just been talking about how this should be done anyway to make sure we don't get completely alienated from the kid fostered in Dorne.

Odds are, we will be wanting to spend plenty of time in Sunspear / Dorne anyway, since the Iron Throne controlling the Stepstones through Corlys and Daemon's fiefs there means we will likely need to do some diplomacy with the Triarchy and Essos in general.
Another thing we can do while in Dorne besides visiting our husband's home and the homes of his vassals is encourage our vassals to visit. Probably a bit of a reach since it's not exactly cheap especially the further you are but it could help consolidate our Bloc. Maybe organize some Tourneys of our own when we have enough coin to throw around, make sure to invite a few Marchers at a time to ease the joining. We'd probably have to make sure no one tries to sneak in a kill though a la Ser criston cole that one time.

In addition to your last point, turn Sunspear into an economic meeting grounds for the people like the Manderly's, Hightowers, Graftons, etc. with the Essosi Magisters/Merchants. Second to King's Landing, of course.

[X] Plan A Few Details and Arguments
-[X] Ask for the visit requirement to be changed so that both you pledge to visit Dorne regularly and that Qoren will visit the other parts of the realm regularly with you.
--[X] It makes sense to broaden the focus from Sunspear to all of Dorne, since visiting other Dornish lords would help your standing and the process of unification. Likewise, Qoren should ensure that he is a known figure in the rest of the Seven Kingsdoms before the wedding to ease their concerns and grumbling. He is good at wining people over and should leverage that for the benefit of our union.
-[X] Ask for clarification of the status of Bloodstone.
--[X] Since Daemon being sworn to Corlys Velaryon would be an awkward situation for all involved, you want it spelled out that Daemon swears fealty directly to the Iron Throne. Should he not wish to claim Bloodstone, the island will be held by the Iron Throne directly in case he changes his mind later.
-[X] Daemon will swear loyalty to the Iron Throne and Rhaenyra's claim if he choose to rule Bloodstone.
--[X] Daemon hasn't directly swear loyalty to the Iron Throne and its heir. This is especially important as his direct reaction to our ascension as heir was occupying the Heir rightful seat of Dragonstone and stealing our brother intended dragon egg. The clear demonstration of loyalty for Iron Throne newest lord is important as all the older lords have already swear loyalty to Rhaenyra as the righftul hair.
-[X] Ask to review the border adjustments. You want to make sure that no mistakes, like awarding land to House Peake, have snuck in.
--[X] House Peake heir have been personally hostile to Rhaenyra as the heir and unlikely to be future ally. Ensuring that this potential enemy is not benefited by this accord will only benefit Dorne and Rhaenyra.

This plan is adjustment of Azel plan by adding supporting argument for excluding Peake and demand to ensure Daemon swear fealty to the Iron Throne and its Heir like the usual protocol for new vassal.

Pretty solid. I'm definitely willing to vote for it, but maybe add in the theft of the dead brothers intended dragon egg.
Alright, adding to it. Though it seems there is not many support for it for fear of antagonizing Daemon more.

Viserys already pardoned him for it( tacitly). Besides he is notorious for not punishing Daemon. He would not do it and it would degrade even more our relationship with Viserys.
Well the term is not for Daemon to be punished just for him to swear fealty as a normal vassal would. Something that Viserys may skip in his fondness of Daemon. The argument is not for Viserys. It is instead are tailored for Qoren as the one we are talking to as said in the update. The argument included Daemon conduct because Qoren may not know the significance why we push for it.

Can you please restate what you think the term should be in a way that is grammatically unambiguous?
I have changed the subject of the sentence for you. Though I wanted to know why nitpick this minor ambiguity? It is just a supporting argument, not a full plan and not even a term. No one for vote it or even reply to it and you also not use it in your plan. It is mainly there because supporting argument was said to affect the dice roll as bolded below.

Edit* Sorry for being unnecessarily hostile here @Simon_Jester Just have a rough few week. I left the original for posterity.
[ ] Speak to Qoren About the Deal (This will involve Hidden Dice Rolls)
-[] Write-in Which Term(s) you wish to discuss
--[] (Optional) Write-in an Arguement (This will effect Dice Rolls)

Made a couple of minor wording changes to my plan, mostly just to make sure Rhaenyra doesn't push these terms hard if they would unexpectedly antagonize Dad or Qoren, though I really doubt they would.
Just reminding that we are talking to Qoren and that if he accept he probably be the one that push it in the negotiation table. Just to keep it mind on the wording.

Though better clarify. If I may ask @Teen Spirit If we speak with Qoren, Who will then push our terms and arguments to the negotiation table? Thank you.

I admit I'm worried about daemon, wasn't he depressed on bloodstone earlier? Also all his hard work will disappear which I give a 50 50 chance he flies into a rage, or he waits and strikes at the most random or at the worst time possible. Out of everyone I feel that daemon is a bomb just waiting to go off.

The stormlands and Baratheons are going to be locked from us for this generation I feel. We are going to have to honestly look for a mostly trustworthy master of whispers. I feel that the westerlands and iron islands are right out. The north… don't know, the manderlys? I feel that maybe we can ask Tarly if he knows anyone in the reach that is sneaky? Or jeyne, dorne? I would say someone from the riverlands but with Larys there, he probably has a spy network already.

I'm interested in learning of Isembard Arryn has the ability to be a spymaster. Business connections lead into spy connections quite readily even if he wasn't quite a spy-master type player in the original dance doesn't mean he couldn't be one for us. Alys Rivers was talked about earlier in the thread, but I feel that is a harder pull to try and get consistent conversations with without sort of playing our hand.

We still have the ability to work with Otto so that has its uses though he's not an expert just practiced and knows people. Larys would potentially be viable, though at least in show his effective gaining of the position is what ultimately gets him his kinslaying fire, so I get why we're very much against interacting with him. Though that may lead him to look towards the Queen like he did in canon so its up in the air regardless.

Rhaenyra when facing an erratically violent man backed by a large and vicious dragon: 😤
"You know I'm right here, Uncle." You switch back to Common as you place your hand on the pommel of your sword. "The one who stole this castle and your spot as heir from you. If you really want either of those back, you're going to have to kill me."

Most would consider a taunt like that towards your uncle nothing short of madness. The man was more than willing to kill to get what he wanted.

"Either kill me or put an end to this farce."

Rhaenyra when facing a pretty guy her age: 👉👈
None of the following are deal-breakers; you are prepared to accept the contract as-is. None of this is worth a meaningful breach with your father, or with Qoren. But they are things you would like to see in the contract.

I know it's her trying to be diplomatic with someone she'll need to build a good relationship with, but the deliberate misinterpretation is still funny to me

Maybe I'm too optimistic, but what if the time spent in Dorne is allocated to relaxation / stress reduction? We need to keep stress at a manageable level, and we should have the least amount of misogyny, homophobia etc. to deal with there. A regular change of scenery might revitalize Rhaenyra to deal with those pesky stuck-up lords of the realm! We can make it clear to Qoren that we're abiding by the letter of the deal, but we'll have to take it easy while in Dorne so we, and thus the whole agreement, don't explode.

[X] Accept them as is (This Will Put Rhaenyra in a Binding Betrothal)

I should clarify that the Stepstones would be part of the Seven Kingdoms. And Daemon's hold will basically just be it's own little thing, sworn only to the crown.

Since we hadn't known that when the current top two plans were made, would this part of the plan be ignored where relevant, or do we need to adjust course ourselves?

Winning plan makes Rhaenyra way too petty to her vassals, not a great image to needlessly project.

[X] Plan A Few Details

Dropped the Daemon part of my plan since this was clarified as unnecessary.

Also, what is with this demand for a celebration? Are we like Daemon and can't let other people have a thing without demanding our own immediately?

The whole celebration is part of soothing his ego after he soundly lost in these negotiations. Let him have it.

Strongly prefer the visiting terms of this plan, getting both of us to go visit places throughout both the broader realm and Dorne as a whole instead of only visiting the capitals seems like a good thing to include.

[X] Reject Them (This Will Have Ramifications)

If this is our last chance, i'm voting no. I don't like the Qoren marriage either way but the last vote really messed up.

[X] Plan A Few Other Details

I am still disappointed we didn't even try to modify the previous parts of the deal.

Rhaenyra absolutely needed more time before the marriage, and at least we could have tried to push to name at least one child Visenya.

I'm kinda meh on the visitation requirements in Azel's plan, but they are not without merit, I guess? The celebration thing is entirely irrelevant for me, I only voted for the plan that talked with Qoren without asking to adjust the visitation requirement in the treaty.

...fine, I'm convinced, we can ask Qoren to show up in more certain terms if it means we don't ask to get our ego soothed.
