[X] Invite Prince Qoren Martell to King's Landing

The Dorne train cannot be stopped, I'm afraid. A vain effort to derail it will not bear fruit! :V

Wait wait wait WAIT I forgot the most important question
@Teen Spirit if we invite Qoren, will we have the option to take him on a ride on Syrax? Regardless of the final outcome of the marriage deliberations, the idea of showing the Prince of Dorne the exhilarating beauty of flying on a dragon feels so irrationally pleasing to me.
he poked our father about not ruling Dorne in the same letter where he suggested a way to bring Dorne in, we can poke him about not having dragons at the same time as showing how cool it would be to marry a dragonrider :V

I get why people are going on the Dorne train. If we can actually bring Dorne under the Targaryens and officially it would be a big win. Though would Dorne actually be willing to bend the knee even if Rhaenyra marries a Martell? Not to mention certain lords aren't gonna be happy. With our Tarly knight being upset as well.

While I think that is a highly intimate act, as the only non-Targ passengers that I remember right now are Rhaena's three girlfriends, I am also highly interested to see it.

Also Ronnel Arryn, the last (boy) King of the Vale. Rhaenys landed Meraxes in the Eyrie itself, and then took the boy on a ride. A nice non-hostile show of Targaryen power, after which his mother the Regent surrendered. Since then history knows Ronnel as the King Who Flew.

Well, there will certainly be tension among both our vassals, especially along the borders. The proposal is to bring Dorne under the authority of the Iron Throne, and all the myriad complications and frustrations along the way are expected implicitly. The point of even offering this, as well as the point of accepting, is that navigating the negotiations and having to pacify all the unhappy vassals is still by far preferable to a long future of bloody conflict and likely eventual subjugation at the hands of a king more warlike than Viserys (not that Qoren would say the last part out loud).

Even if we don't end up marrying him, meeting him can't hurt.

Also, since he is the candidate that will take more time to negotiate with, we have to start as soon as possible.

Everyone else we can marry on relatively short notice.

I knew I forgot something even though I voted for her as our companion for the ride too. Still Dragon ride seems still a fully lesbian hangout right now. May be Prince Qoren is actually Princess?:V

Ah another one. Fortunately I've long liked the interpretation that Rhaenys and Sharra Arryn were "close companion" so Ronnel was waiting co-parenting negotiation ride there. :V

Dorne is no foreign power, merely a wayward one, whose participation in the grand league of the living is necessary to counter the onset of the dead. Accordingly, Targaryens have been rightful rulers of the Rhoynar since Aegon's day :V

For all the other options I would highly prefer we talk to them ourselves. This is a way to get to do so with Qoren though.

Nah, that was Visenya, which makes it even funnier imo. Visenya, the one remembered as the harsh warrior queen who was the power behind at least two thrones did the semi bloodless conquest by taking a young king for a ride on her dragon and not in a euphemistic sense!
