The action crunch here is absolutely brutal. We got 5 actions (6 if we push it) to spread out over 14 convo options and 17 action options if you include sub-options.

Idk how the fuck you guys make a plan because this shit is making me suffer from decision paralysis.

While we technically don't know exactly how he feels about RhAlicent shipping, we do have an inkling on how he feels.

Oh, I don't think so either. He talked with us about it before we started dating Alicent, and he'd figured out Alicent's feelings and was basically telling us not to lead her on and hurt her.

I don't think he's likely to be upset about the gay thing. I do think it's possible that he could be worried about his sister being in a dangerous relationship, and it's only fair to let him know and talk with him about our intentions.

[X] Plan: Unstressful Studying
-[X] [Conversation] Speak with Alicent Hightower
-[X] [Conversation] Speak with Lord Lyonel Strong
-[X] [Conversation] Speak with Steffon Redfort
-[X] [Action] Investigate the Death of King Aenys
-[X] [Action] Study Valyrian History with your Father.

[X] Plan: Marriagemaxxing and Studymaxxing With Synergy

I don't love bringing up Aelora, but at least this one gets us started with Lord Strong. And maybe Viserys will be cool about it. He certainly believes in Aegon's visions at least.

Guys, we literally have anywhere between 3-5 years for the marriage thingy (so anywhere between 14- 22) turns, it won't matter if we don't take it for a couple turns...
Right, but negotiating the marriage won't be an instantaneous thing, and scouting out the lay of the land in advance is probably good strategy or something.

We don't need to be proposing to best boy Laenor any time soon, but at least investigating the concept is good. Especially as we're currently planning on bringing our lover along with us, so finding a marriage candidate who is ok with sesbian lex and a paramour is important.

I think we should definitely look into marriage next turn, while speaking with gawain, otto, Harwin, and lord strong. It has a lot more synergy and feeling out the fathers is just as important as feeling out the husbands to be.

This turn however, we should spend time with family, and alicent, and focus on the big issue hanging over Rhaenyra's head that makes maintaining our relation with Johanna stress inducing. Valyrian History plus looking into the dream while discussing it with Viserys likely has some very strong synergy potential.

At the same time, this opportunity with Rhaenys won't last. Best to seize the moment, as it were.

-[X] [Action] Study Music
-[X] [Action] Study
-[X] [Action] Look into Marriage Options

So this gets us a lot of synergy here. We get Music to set up our new relaxation, with Study but talk to Strong in order to improve that Law Study... we look into Marriage Options at the SAME time as talking to Lord Strong which might help flesh out that possibility... and we still talk to Viserys and get to spend some time with our lady-love.
It's not a bad plan by any means (I think I like that one second best of all the options right now behind my one), but IMO we really should talk with Gwayne, about the whole Alicent stuff. I know you want Strong to synergize with studying, but I don't think we should hold Gwayne off much longer, especially since he IS a marriage option, so we need to test out how he stands on the whole matter.

While winters can get that long, I think people put winter length a bit on the long side right now... And also, it is advantageous for ourselves as well if we marry early. It's not just a duty. And I mean, if it really is 5 years, that could make a huge difference.

[x]Plan Marriage Options, Hightowers and Studying

My three must-haves are a conversation with Gwayne, a conversation with Alicent and a start to looking into marriage options. Two of those are because I think they are neccessary, one is because I want them.

It is a mystery as to which are which.

We are still in autumn though so even if the winter is short you should add a year or two on top of that..
Autumn length is also variable. Seasons are weird, but the "main timeline" summer, autumn, and winter were all long.

Its typical for a child to see multiple winters basically. I don't know if there's a canonical average duration of each season, but relying on a 5 year winter is a weird call
I should note that five year long winters are considered exceptionally long and brutal.
Indeed, the Dance (in the books, show hasn't covered this) is followed by a 5 year winter that basically breaks the kingdom even more.

There is not a canonical average duration, but the winters that came before the 10-year summer we have in Game of Thrones were considered short ones, and the average was 2 years each...

So my estimation is that a regular winter would be around 3 years and since we are still in autumn, we should to add at least 1 year to that time...

So 4-5 years until we hit spring seems like a reasonable estiamtion...

I really don't like taking marriage considerations while speaking to only the strongs or the high towers outside alicent, rather than speaking to both.

[X] Plan Without An Exciting Name

-[X] [Conversation] Speak with Viserys
--[X] Bring up Harrenhal and Aelora

We definitely should talk with him and he is perhaps the only one except for Alys who would believe that we had a genuine vision of the future.

-[X] [Conversation] Speak with Steffon Redfort

Definitely need to get this done now.

-[X] [Conversation] Speak with Alicent Hightower

We genuinely haven't been spending a lot of time with her recently. Time to fix that.

-[X] [Conversation] Speak with Gwayne Hightower

As the option text calls out, we need to talk with him about our relationship to Alicent. Right now. Urgently. If we can get his approval and maybe support, that changes a lot of the calculus in terms of marriage and he could become a very important ally to get his father on our side.

-[X] [Action] Look into Marriage Options

We got a firm deadline by Viserys and I don't think we should go the canon route and sour our relationship by ignoring it. Since the negotiations for all of this will take a while, we should get the ball rolling now.

-[X] [Action] Study Music

Having an action that is both productive and reduce stress? Yes, please. That's really useful right now.
To speak to the merits of this plan for a moment, everything here (except speaking to Daddy about Aelora, and that exception was only because we weren't 100% sure Aelora was going to be the subject of our vision) is something we had meant to do on our Progress and were prevented from doing by its being cut short. Think of it like winding up as many loose plot threads as we can before embarking on the opportunities opened up by being back in the capital.

Actually, wrapping up plot threads should be something we should look for, Diligent-wise.

I think we shouldn't spend time with Johanna and the twins until we pass over the dread from Harrenhal. Tho, if we tell Viserys, he might try to force us to spend time with her in order to get rid of the 'rejection' option..

In book canon, Tyrion was born in 273, in the middle of a three-year winter. By 289 he had seen nine winters, so less than a year each on average if the redditor I'm copying and pasting can do maths right.
