If we are informing Viserys about our vision, we should really be taking harrenhall or valyrian history at the same time.
Why? The histories in particular aren't going anywhere, and speaking to Daddy about our vision is as much or more about seeking comfort as seeking answers.
Plus of course, Viserys, beyond being our father and the King, is also the expert in Valyrian history and all that sort of stuff. We don't need to do everything ourselves. If Viserys finds the story sufficiently interesting, it is entirely possible we can leave it to the experts (i.e., him).

[ ] [Conversation] Speak with Viserys
-[ ] Bring up Harrenhal and Aelora
[ ] [Conversation] Speak with Gwayne Hightower
[ ] [Conversation] Speak with Lord Lyonel Strong

Gwayne has clearly been wanting to talk to us for a while, and potting it off will eventually lead to missing whatever opportunity it represents.

[ ] [Action] Study Music

Anyway, winter in the books lasts as long as GRRM requires them so we should extrapolate that in this fic they last as long as required too. Which is why I do not think planning for a long winter is a good idea as the QM seems to think long winters are not common

-[X] [Conversation] Speak with Gwayne Hightower

As the option text calls out, we need to talk with him about our relationship to Alicent. Right now. Urgently. If we can get his approval and maybe support, that changes a lot of the calculus in terms of marriage and he could become a very important ally to get his father on our side.

-[X] [Action] Look into Marriage Options

We got a firm deadline by Viserys and I don't think we should go the canon route and sour our relationship by ignoring it. Since the negotiations for all of this will take a while, we should get the ball rolling now.
If we're talking with Gwayne, it might be best to delay looking into Marriage Options for a turn. Because depending on what he says, that may change said options going forward.

Other than that, I like the plan.

I would like to point out that I never assumed that we would have a long winter, but that an average winter and an average autumn put together would be at least 3 years...

I'm aware. I want to be productive about things, which is why I kept throwing write ins at the wall until one got approved so there would be a chance of incentive on beginning the investigation before winter proper started and going to harrenhall was no longer an option until the twins were three or almost three. The thread has a tendency to hyper focus in on Rhaenyra's goals and interacting with a specific set of allies, as it's doing now.

[x]Plan Marriage Options, Hightowers and Studying

Of the two leading plans this is the one I prefer. I'm not happy about studying before talking to Strong, but I feel Gwayne is higher up in priority than Strong.

[X] Plan: Dragon Dreams

I do also want to approval vote for Dragon Dreams, since it's my favourite one.

Doubt that'll be a problem; in past turns where we've voted for multiple related actions Teen Spirit has written them in an order that makes sense. So Rhaenyra will probably just talk to Gwayne first, or change her plans while investigating marriage options.

Speaking of which, would you like to toss a vote to the plan which covers your Redfort hobbyhorse?
Ehh. I suppose so, even if it's rather redundant now since we've arrived back in kingslanding and my whole reason for pushing for this was to have a justification other than our good relationship with Jeyne for giving him a position of importance. Amazing how insisting we can interact with him later every time he came up as vote option didn't pan out.

Hmm. The threads mono-focus on listed goals to the detriment of other issues is going to make any real effort put into Harrenhall vision like pulling teeth.
