Are we going to go talk to Tarly every time we train? I want to improve that relationship as well, but training is that important action. Tarly can go longer between deep discussions.
It's not about the relationship. Talking with Tarly at the same time as we train boosts the results of the training.

I reiterate, are we talking to Tarly every time we train?

We're training 2 out of every three personal actions seems like, it makes no difference if it's this one or the next, but we can't afford to use social slots talking to Tarly every time.

We are debating if we should spend the action *now* and not about every possible future in which we may or may not spend an action on it.

And I think after lapsing our training to focus on Syrax and the wedding for a while, it's warranted to spend one now.

We have had 2 training actions per year and we are steadily progressing on our prowess...

It would be nice to train with our sworn sword for the training bonus, but we have much more urgent matters to attend to, and clearing things with Johanna seems a better investment...

[X]: don't actually involve yourself in that troublesome little rebellion. However you can certainly visit Lady Jeyne, and if your massive fire breathing flying lizard happens to be parked atop the main gate being very visible, that's just gravy.

[X] Plan The 70,000 Pound Dragon In The Room

Guys, we're going to have to make our half-siblings like us, whether our stepmother likes us or not, it doesn't matter if our brothers like us, her plans will already be harmed if the half-brothers/sisters like Rhaenyra, because then if she asks her firstborn to fight for his claim he might look at her like she's crazy and say:

"No mother, I like Rhaenyra, she's a good sister, I'm not going to do that to her, are you crazy?"

A Plan to be a Good Sister can neutralize any ambition of the Queen,at least I think this it worth try,the great mistake of Canon Rhaenyra is not tryng this.

Don't see much point in talking to the Westerlings, especially both Westerlings, myself. Conversing with them now isn't going to derail any expectation that her son takes the throne when and if he happens. Especially since even if Viserys is saying that he won't replace us, that isn't actually going to sink in with anyone until he has a son and is actually not replacing us. Everyone probably thinks he's just being nice to us rn. We can't be nice to siblings who haven't been born yet.

Also, we've been above max stress the entire quest. I think we should fit a relax in.

I'll provisionally propose this, but I'll switch to 70,000 lb if necessary to avoid splitting the vote. Hoping that not asking anything out of the relax offsets the downside of using it as a third action.

Edit: nvm, misunderstood the max stress!

Whereas it would certainly help, having a great relationship with our siblings is not a total guarantee, the conspirators can always claim that they are defending his rights and use him as a puppet...

Myrcella loved Tommen very much and would have never betrayed him, but Arianne and her friends would have declared her Queen regardless of that, and then Civil War ensures...

Do you realize that we are literally playing the long game here... Unless things change a lot Viserys is not going to kick the bucket for the next 20 years or so, and having a good relationship with most people in the court is good for us, especially with the Queen...

Besides that Johanna and Harold are pretty cool people, getting to know them better would be great, we don't have to try to min max every single turn...

Perhaps a good relationship with Johanna might mean nothing when the throne is at stake but perhaps it might be the difference when she considers either or not geld one of Rhaenyra children.

I realize we're playing the long game, I just don't think talking to them now is particularly helpful to that. We can't negotiate until we have a mutual understanding, and right now we might not have that.

Johanna might think that Viserys intends to declare her son heir as soon as he's born - his previous behavior does not indicate that he'd be okay with a daughter as heir - and if so how are we even going to have a meaningful conversation?

We don't even know she'll have a son - and if she doesn't, then she's probably a lot less likely to be an open rival claimant. Not that Johanna wouldn't prefer her daughter over us but she'd have no legal backing for that.

Her son might be Aegon the Unworthy - or the next Jaehaerys. We could be a great older sister they would never rise against willingly - or they could despise us.

I'm not against talking to Johanna ever, but we do seem a bit pressed on slots rn and the situation is not changing much until we have a baby brother (or it's clear we won't).
