Despite my misgivings this is a great chance to contain the Inquisition's power just a little. They'll still be running around being unaccountable jackass cultists but if there's a more regular and regimented institutional power to balance that things should be a little bit better. At least other Imperial institutions will have somewhere else to turn if we keep the Synopticon more relevant.
