I cannot think if any way in which talking about this will help anyone, that includes but is not limited to 'secret dwarfish methods of strengthening against things no dwarf could do' and 'super-special Grey Wizard demon checking'. I think we should aim to minimize the loss of reputation and and general danger than comes with blurting out random stuff about chaos. The fewer people who know what a demon has to say the better.

I do not expect either of these options to win and I do expect a lot of disappointment when those close to her do not rally around Mathilde with proverbial hot coca for her mental scarring. Still I do understand the urge and for what it's worth I hope I am wrong.

So there is an advantage to telling the Colleges about it. Nice to know, I definitely think we should do so. Our reputation is pristine, we can tank the loss.
There is an advantage to telling the Colleges about the dubious intel on an incoming Everchosen. The rest of it? Not nearly as evident. At all.
Also, I think it's worth remembering that Regimand frequently pretends to be a black magister / blackmailable without telling anyone. Not mentioning a demon encounter -- a normal risk of being a wizard -- where the demon could only talk -- is comparatively mild. We're a lord magister; we have discretion out the wazoo for this kind of thing.
This wasn't "a daemon." It was one of the Eyes of Tzeentch. The difference between "daemon" and "Greater Daemon" is highly salient, and absolutely nobody thinks that the least threatening thing a Greater Daemon of Tzeentch can do is talk.

Well this is a tricky one. My first impulse is to tell nobody but part of me really wants to see Belegar's reaction to Mathilde telling him that she might have temporarily weakened reality when accidentally creating a pocket dimension.

He's had a few years without Mathilde doing openly doing crazy stuff so I'm just worried he's fallen out of practice.

Boney literally just told us how telling people would help. And Mathilde won't be blurting random stuff about Choas, she's a highly competent LM expert in that kind of creative presentation of the truth.

You're certainly not going to be able to command any sort of mobilization effort based on 'a Lord of Change told me', but you can add the information in more general form to the greater intelligence apparatus, which will be accumulating bits and pieces like that and will, eventually, reach the point where the omens are unmistakeable and the Empire - hopefully - will get its ducks in a row before half of Kislev is aflame. And if it turns out to be nothing - there's nothing to say that an Everchosen will always attack the Old World, and several theorists in the field believe that Naggaroth and Cathay have received the brunt of at least a couple - then those armies can go and proactively stamp out a few nascent lesser threats. There's always something out there that could use a taste of steel and gunpowder.
most Dwarves would agree that courtesy dictates that you report the presence of a Greater Daemon inside a Karak, or the wounding of the barrier between said Karak and the realm of Daemons. Likewise, the Grey Order likes to be kept abreast of this sort of thing so they know to be on the lookout for any sudden penchant for feathers and coloured flames.

There's also the fact that hiding this from Belegar is a complete betrayal of his absolute trust in us, and doing so would leave a bad taste in my mouth. Loyalty has meaning only if it can be maintained even when if it's inconvenient. For God's sake, we even told him when a literal evil god possessed us. Compared to just talking to a demon, it's small potatoes.

I actually think that telling colleges about Everbowl is a bait - since they know that there is a dubious source, when a demon says "And that source was ME!!!" they might be forced to consider it. Unlike normally, where they would just ignore it.

So if you ignore the names that were so heavily dropped, where does that leave you? You're certainly not going to be able to command any sort of mobilization effort based on 'a Lord of Change told me', but you can add the information in more general form to the greater intelligence apparatus, which will be accumulating bits and pieces like that and will, eventually, reach the point where the omens are unmistakeable and the Empire - hopefully - will get its ducks in a row before half of Kislev is aflame. I do not normally do this but I feel it's warranted this time. This is terrible reasoning on Mathilde's part, so spacious you could pass a fully loaded Norscan war mammoth through the gaps. It assumes
  1. The utterly devoid of any timing warning from a demon adds something significant to the picture
  2. There exist other signs that form the picture and someone is collating them meaningfully
  3. This could be done in a timely manner
  4. That the literal seer demon would not have foreseen the possibility and thus simply kept silent
I do not have words for how unspeakably optimistic this is. Are we sure Mathilde is not suffering some kind of temporary mental contamination from Tzeench's poisoned version of Hope? :V

Ugh.

I definitely feel the Nothing/Nothing vote, in the name of infohazard containment, but that's almost certainly a trap. We certainly haven't disclosed all the sketchy things we've done, but this particular sketchy thing has left a daemonic trait on our character sheet that might come up later, so it's best that we do all the reporting and checking we can ASAP, so that evidence of our misdeeds doesn't doom us later.

If nothing else, not telling Belegar is probably a non-starter, since Kragg is right here, and might've already noticed the damage to reality, and might notice in the future. And if we decide to tell Belegar, it's more likely to get out to the Grey Order eventually, so we should tell them too.

Nothing good can come of announcing that we're a potential Everchosen candidate, though. That's the kind of thing I'm content to file under "insulting offer" and forget about.

Watching the thread's reaction progress from instant overwhelming panic and thoughts of suicide to spite the demon because everything is ruined slowly turn to 'it's fine, it's fine, if I just keep doing what I was doing it's probably fine, and if it isn't there isn't anything I can do about it' and using that as a metaphor for Mathilde's actual internal monolog in the aftermath of this scene is delightful.
