Dammit, I just realized the Character sheet has been updated and Lucien is now one of the most genetically perfect individuals of the realm (we are still lacking Genius so not truly perfect-perfect, I wonder which the DC was) according to CK2/3 logic...
And after seeing the last chapter of HOTD I can only say that seeing how powerful and devastating a single adult dragon can be against a mob without using fire, or even trying to be actively lethal I call the Storming of the Dragonpit even more bullshit... And that if Lucien is ever in the same position Rhaenys was, he is not going to doubt to say "Dracarys"

Well, unfortunately Lucien is going to be involved in the most devastating Civil War in the history of Westeros... I hope I am wrong, but I don´t think we will be finish the War without losing someone (or a lot of someones)
And about Archery, that is actually a great idea... As a Dragon Rider, it is not like we can get much use out of our sword or lance when fighting on top of a Dragon, archery gives the advantage of being able to fight at a distance from our target...
Agreed, a well placed arrow on the back of the enemy can be useful as for the lance Lucien can still throw it.

Lances are weapons specialised for mounted combat and charging... They are basically useless to fight at foot, and almost impossible to throw.
A good thing about archery for a dragon rider is that allow us to be less indiscriminate than using the dragon fire and jaws...
And I am very disappointed in you guys... We can cuddle with our Brides whenever we want, but Rhae is kind of dying here...

I mean... yeah. Although she is not at the point where she wanted to die yet. She just wants to go home. And Viserys won't let Daemon leave yet.
Problem: With how strong each time the wings goes up and down, the burst of wind can knock our arrows off course if not timed correctly. Keep in mind, Mongol, Native American, or, in this case, Dothraki horse archers become decent in shooting arrows off their horses from a VERY young age to adulthood. It literally takes a lifetime of training to perfect shooting properly, let alone hitting a long-ranged target precisely. Imagine how impossible it would be off an adult dragon with its wings flapping.

We are just 15 though, we are still young with a brain wired for learning...
It is not like we are trying to learn the stuff in our 40s...
And we mastered sword fighting when we were 6, I doubt that it will take much to learn archery as a teenager.
