Well, since it seems that your plan will win I have a few suggestions @ColonelRogers to swap a few of the training for the equivalent that we have already unlocked via our mentors... Simply because we could learn them with a bonus, or build in what we already have instead of trying to learn something new (which will make it so that we will have to spend more actions to master those skills than otherwise)
Besides that, Jousting is kind of a big deal here, Tourneys are a great way of gaining some coin and popularity, which a prince like use could really use.
We can probably change that for Money handling, since it serves basically the same function...
Money Handling (Skilled): You keep a firm hand on the purse strings of your ship, and in your personal finances. (+20 to financial rolls)
This is explicitly covered by sailing...
Sailing Rank (Competent): You are a sailor who has a knack for knots, commands and sailing the seas. (No roll bonus to Naval and commanding fleets.)
I feel like you are not giving Theatrics enough credit here, with theatrics we learn not only how to lie well but also how to "perform an inspiring role" which kind of covers both intrigue and a powerful tool for inspiring men under our command
Theatrics(Trained): All the World's a stage. You just have the talent to play many parts. (+10 bonus to acting, and lying)
I don´t think that this would be that useful, we are not mute for a speech impediment that can be healed with logopedic techniques, we are mute because of Trauma, so we need to actually heal from our trauma before being able to speak again...
