Imagine if we learned this bit of info before the Waystone project started. We'd be bleeding our brain out of our ears for no discernable benefit.

Edit: this too is good

Mathilde owes a debt, it will be paid.

[X] Secrets

Any apprentice of Mathilde is going to have to be able to keep, appreciate, learn, and make use of secrets. There are simply too many, that are too valuable, to let them be forgotten.

Similarly, one of Mathilde's unique advantages as a teacher is her deep connection to the Karaz Ankor, which among wizards is all but unequalled. Providing our apprentice the opportunity to develop a similar edge is going be an important part of the teaching process.

Eike gave the impression that the Wind she resonated most with was Hysh. That might just have been her Shallayan faith shining through with Hysh being the WInd of healing and purity, but it's also the Wind of learning and understanding as light reveal as much as Ulgu can be the wind of curiosity of the unknown. So with limited information it does feel like a fair bet that Eike could thrive in the sort of work we're doing uncovering the esoteric gods, works and cultures of the Old World.

I was initially going to vote secrets but Pranks sound like fun, since I'm not opposed to either winning I'll just vote the one that's behind.

I will say that I look forward to seeing how Eike integrates into Mathilde's current dynamic. Like it feels like she'd be able to play the Watson role very well, providing a person who Mathilde could explain things to and can ask the obvious questions.

Also I don't know why but I can't help but imagine Eike pulling the Shallyan version of the "I'm a healer but...*cocks gun*" meme.

Between being from a not so healthy family, a grandchild of a cutthroat merchant mogul, apprentice of a semi-legendary lady magister, indoctrinated by the secret service cult since the age of twelve, and spending a lot of time with dwarves, I think Eike needs a little silliness in her life. Vote pranks folks!

I think Secrets is gonna win, but if Pranks comes in second, maybe Boney can combine them. That'd be cool.

Huh, the Sotek being one of the city god's is actually pretty compelling argument. Didn't Sotek have some form of connection, similar energy to Sigmar in one of the updates, if i'm recalling correctly. I wonder what exactly this means for the Sigmar and Sotek relation, assuming the Sotek=City God is true

It would also explain why some Dwarves crossed the Great Ocean and went to Lustria - like Karag Dum suspected, they were followers of the Old Gods, having tracked down one of their teachers and deciding to follow him.
I think it's worth noting that these dwarfs appear in Total War Warhammer, and their faction as well as the mountain range they've settled are named the Spine of Sotek.
