True, that is the deciding factor. If he WANTS to teach us, then he may be one of, if not the, best Options.

If he doesn't really want to...well, then we would be better served to look elsewhere.

Think Rhaenys might be an alternative?

Daemon would be a great teacher....if he felt like it or actually liked Lucien. If not would need to find a way to train dragon riding. Daemon was actually a pretty good commander. Well he could like Lucien sooner if he learns about our mother Gael because then they'd actually be related by blood which Daemon does seem to care about.

Whatever you think of Otto he knew how to play politics and the court. Did some pretty decent plays. So if he actually became a ally of Lucien it be interesting if nothing else.

And hey if we are Daemons squire Lucien will be with Daemon for some interesting events. Like Daemon raising a army to push Viserys claim while Corlys raised his fleet. War almost broke out.
